Not too bad a result in the end given that it seemed to be heading for peanuts. The banker did have some Christmas generosity in the 1.5K offer. :P I was expecting the offer to have been about £990 which might have forced Wendy on and possiby into the 10p club. At least no one could accuse Endemol of fixing things to make sure large amounts are in the Christmas games.

A quite remarkable game, Wendy joins Player 14 and Irene in the Turning Down An AMO Club with that £2,500 rejection. I suspect more people would reject such offers in disastrous games if they received them though...

I'm glad Wendy Dealt at £1,500. I would have done the same.
Merry Christmas Wendy.

Well done Wendy, £1,500 is at least something decent before Christmas. :D

£1,500 is a good sum for X-Mas Wendy, as the average spent on X-Mas is this amount, you really made it your own game. Well done! :D

Yikes, amidst all the fun with the stockings, the poem, and Noel giving Jenny £50, that was a pretty unlucky game. The bit when the £10k then the £5k went was incredibly depressing viewing (although I couldn't help agreeing with Wendy when she said "It's not her fault!" when Noel started going on about Joey ruining Christmas Eve - you tell him!), but thank god she took £1,500 as she really did not deserve to win 10p.

Well done, Wendy!

Bah, I hate Deal or No Deal...I wanted Wendy to win tons more, but at least she didn't go away with the 10p. That would have been awful.

I don't want to embarrass myself here, but did anyone else see any significance in the "average" opening offer of £6,000? I thought I did, but nobody seems to have mentioned it either here or on the show, so I think I might have a dirtier mind than Wendy...

Wendy, very well done on your £1,500 - I'm glad you thought about the offer and did a very wise deal - I'd have loved you to win more, but hated to see you win 10p - so I'm glad you dealt when you did.

Welldone Wendy, I'm glad you dealt at £1,500 and avoided winning the 10p, that would have been horrible. £1,500 is still alot of money, specially at Christmas time. Enjoy every penny!
