Definitely! It frustrates me so much when the banker makes over-inflated offers like that. Although I must admit, today, even some of his earlier offers were a bit on the high side.

Well done Lucy in winning 35K. It was brave to turn down £27,000.
That put's you joint 26th currently in the all-time list of winners.
We will all miss your smile! :D

£27,500 actually. But what's £500 between friends! ;)

I know - I'm sick and tired of these ludicrously high proveout offers. I'm sure every regular viewer of the show is both aware and annoyed by how false they are!
Agreed, I think if the game had still been live the offer would have been somewhere between £60,000 to £80,000 at the most if not less.

Well done Lucy - great game! And certainly didn't miss out on as much as the Banker claimed by not going on one more round...

She should have done 50 shows like the other one though, still she would probably have gone away with a fiver if she had!

I think that applies for the 35k as well. I thought the banker was messing around.

The show felt very rushed post deal, seemed like a lot had been edited.

Not even the suspense music before Noel opened Lucy's box :(

That £105,000 was ridiculously huge. Anyway, well done Lucy on your £35k... very well played! ;)

Why is everyone saying £105,000 was such a high offer, no it wasn't. Morris got offered £101,000 when he was still in play, when he had the £20,000 and £250,000 left. So that hypothetical offer today seemed about right. It was the £35,000 offer that shocked me.

Anyway welldone Lucy! Enjoy the money! :D

Yes, it was! What about Morris' in-play offer of £101,000 on £20k vs £250k? And David J's in-play offer of £70,000 ( ) on £10,000 vs £250k? And what about the proveout 1p vs £250k offer of £60,000? And we all know nowadays that the banker offers low amounts in that situation to force the player on. I didn't think we'd ever see an offer as big as that in a blue vs. £250k ever again, even in a proveout.

I agree with banker on this occasion (Banker, why were you offering such high offers through the WHOLE game ;-) )

Who said anything about an imposter? How do you know I'm not the real Banker? You have no way of knowing! ;) Or do you? :suspect:

Endemol = a single company, surely? Hence, wait until Endemol gets here?

Well, I suppose you could say that.
