Wakey...as ever, you seem to be missing the fact that the whole point of the show is that different people have different attitudes to money! You might think that £10k or £20k is a decent back-up and makes it "safe" for you to carry on to the end regardless (although don't you always think that?), but someone who really wanted £50k for whatever reason would probably disagree. My little brother, who, if he played, would spend all his winnings on football cards, would probably be happy to go away with £1, so that would be all the back-up he'd need. Just because you would be happy to turn down £25k and go away with £10k doesn't mean that everyone else would. Dawn probably wanted the £25k for a specific purpose, which the £10k wouldn't be able to achieve - either that, or £25k was just enough for her and she didn't see the point in risking it.

That was the best game ever!!!

Jaye got to open TWO boxes!

Amanda did a funny phone gesture with her hand when Dawn tried to open her box!

Dawn....was the player!

Aww, all my favourite women got something cool to do.

Don't forget that Anna-Marie saved the day in revealing the last blue. :)

I thought you didn't believe in the opposite law of Mally's Law, or Mally's Law, itself?

I much prefer Black Widow logic to Mally Logic...although I'm aware that they're both equally rubbish. Still, you've got to have something to shout at the TV screen...

[quote="wakey1512]No, the board values aren't fictional, because they give you a better idea of what is in your box. If you have:

Code:
               £20,000
               £35,000
               £50,000
               £75,000
               £100,000

Then you know that you're leaving with a minimum of £20,000 so you can safely no deal to the end knowing you can't leave with anything less then £20,000![/quote]

Since when has there been a board like that? Not even Brenda's was that stable!

Even then, not everyone will definitely no-deal. I probably would for the reasons given, but the offer on a board so solid would probably be about £50k - £55k, very close to the mean, which some people would see as far more significant and life-changing than £20k!

Well done, Dawn! Enjoy the £25k! An outright player win, too! This week is proving to be quite a big one so far - what with £75k on Monday, yes ok, £10 on Tuesday, but then £25k yesterday - over £100k so far! In fact, if no more money was given out this week, it would still be the 18th biggest ever payout week!
