Noel open box 3 and reveals £10 :(

Box 8 contains the £50

Noel talks about the big contrast with yesterdays game, Steve says he really enjoyed the game and the experience.

Real shame - just shows gambles do not always pay off. :(

Credit for giving it a try, Steve.

Steve reminds me of £1 Gary...hopefully this game will turn out a bit better than that one.

I'll get my coat.

Poor Steve...those last couple of offers were absolutely ridiculous. I know the final offer was pretty irrelevant, but that £1,200 that came before it must be one of the stingiest ever, surely? The fact that Steve just instantly dismissed it made it a crap offer in every sense...dropping it down to £6k, or "one daughter", would have been much more interesting and tested his nerve as a gambler a lot more.

o.o I missed the first 15 minutes of the show... so again, I missed the SWAP offer. Still never seen the swap being offered first round.

Shame he only went away with £10; I would've dealt at £12... just to take Geordie's title >_>

Bah. He'd been really emotionally involved in a lot of the other player's games whilst on the West Wing and I was hoping he'd do well but perhaps he is a long lost relative of Wakey as he seemed pretty determined to go to the end regardless.

I'm sure he mentioned something to his daughters about 'going to Bognor' with his winnings which makes him a hero to me, although somewhat misguided... :?

Well that brought us down to earth with a bump. :(

I'd have ended up with precisely £2 more than Steve if I'd played that game, I would have only considered dealing for the £12 at the end, I would have continued with the quarter-mill still on the board, and the offer at the 5-box point, well the less said about that the better, but his instant decision to no-deal tells you everything. :)

It was equivalent to being offered £6k on a £250k/4 blues board - makes 1p Trevor's offer look charitable!

Three games were popping into my head all through that once a pattern had been established - Connell's, Julie's and 1p Trevor's. I knew it was heading for trouble when there were no values between £50 and £15,000 left at halfway!

I hope nobody I like plays on a Tuesday soon - the Tuesdays in Series 3 have produced wins of £50, £500, £500 again, and now £10.

Mmm... well from one day to another, from one extreme to another. Lynne was a gambler, and won £75k... Steve was a gambler and won £10... sums up DOND, really... if you gamble, it either pays off or it doesn't. I really liked Steve... I was hoping to see his gamble pay off, especially as he wanted to spend (at least some of) the money on his children. It was a great game, though, though shame about the end result. :( Well done for your bravery! :D
