What did Alasdair have today?

Also has anyone noticed the names (and order) of last three players?

Peter Paul and Mary! :o How coincidental.

A most unfortunate game there.

Credit to Peter for going all the way, however, and £500 is a small consolation I'm sure.

Oh >_> Ok. I didn't see the show. I was wondering why nobody pointed it out.

Well done on your £500 Peter. Just a shame it wasn't more. Your highest offer was £5,000 so it's not like you risked a lot money by playing on.

Sorry for Peter as he has been so ind and supportive to other players.

It is really annoying how the banker picks on 'The Daddy' of the group. Does anyone know exactly what being the Daddy means? It seems to be mentioned a lot but what does it actually involve?

Allisdair is no terminator. Stupid Noel, he's had 10 blues and 13 reds, and he's only had the £100k and £250k once. Paula R had the £250k five times, yet Noel never noticed her.

Peter was one of those players I hardly noticed on the wings, but really liked him when it came to his game. It seemed that whenever he opned his mouth, he annoyed the banker!

But he deserved a lot more than £500, that was just one of those awful games that just never gets going, and not once did I think he had an offer worth dealing (except possibly the £162.50 at the end - he did NOT deserve 10p!). I think most people can live with only "losing" £4,500! He took a great attitude towards the game, and I think could have been a very big winner with some more luck with the boxes. If only he'd left the grandchildrens' ages till the end, they're the boxes that destroyed most of the power 5!

And Alasdair really does qualify for Terminator status - it's all about timing remember - Paul left him until after he dealt and he only had £500, Peter left him till the end and he had 10 measly pennies! :)

Who cares, he still only had a blue in his box, regardless of when he was picked! Just because the player decided to leave Alisdair to a certain point, it doesn't mean his box is going to be different.

Thanks to everyone commenting on todays show, MINE, I was dreading the comments but they were kind and thoughtful. The Daddy is a very demanding position, he is the go between for the contestants and Endemol or the Hotel, if anyone has a problem, grievance etc the Daddy tries to sort it out. He also chairs the evening meetings where the contestants who play that day discuss their game plan, if any! He also introduces the newbys and make them feel welcome. There is also a mummy (but don't tell the wife)

Peter

Thanks for posting here Peter, you played a great game with a lot of courage, and you put on a brave face when the boxes weren't being kind.

Welcome to the forums Peter.

Really sad to see your game go the way it went, you were a great contestant and deserved a lot more.
