The viewing figures will probably be the biggest yet.

Other than getting the first £250,000 winner, which a lot of people would have claimed was fixed if it had happened, that was the ideal game to hook more viewers into watching the show. I hope the viewing figures turn out to be in excess of 4 million at least!

DOND has broke the 4 million mark loads of times, but i'm just hoping we break Marcus' record of 4.6 million.

It should have got a decent audience, though I suspect that with ratings juggernaut Heartbeat on ITV1 at the same time it won't have managed 4.6m.

I don't know what to say!!!

Why would people rather watch Heartbeat than DOND! :?

If this doesn't create DOND's biggest viewing figures yet, then I'll be disappointed :(

I didn't say Heartbeat was good :( I said it got ridiculously high ratings...

I'd imagine it got very good ratings among a younger audience, though - and that's where the ad revenue is.

That was brilliant, well done David!! And good on every contestant on the wings that the least they can go home with is...£250.01 :)

I really must stop reading the spoiler thread, I was fairly sure of the outcome of this game, which ruined it somewhat for me, I didn't find it as exciting as I should have done. I just can't help myself sometimes!

(Highlighted white below - don't read if you don't want to be spoiled)

Quote:
I also knew he didn't have the £250,000 on the table as well, because of a spoiler saying it hadn't been on the table for 92 shows - more than David's show. Really pleased that there was no mention of a possible swap! I was expecting a lot smaller than £10k in his box though!

Anyone think that the £70k offer was rubbish? I reckon it would have been expected on £250k/blue, but more than £10k. Was it designed to make him go for the £250k? Or was the banker playing on the fact that David's wife wanted him to deal for the rubbish offer of £25k on the previous round, and therefore he'd definitely deal the £70k? Though that £25k offer was due to Mark mouthing off I reckon!

I expect offers with £250k in the last two to keep dropping until someone wins it (Morris going for it but not winning it seemingly wasn't enough)! :)

I was screaming "Fix!!!" at the end when there were the two boxes left. I'm glad the 250K wasn't there because then it would have truly been fixed. I think had it have been any other show other than the birthday where there was the 250K there at the end, he would have gambled. Surely he knew that there would be no chance it would have been in his box!

Great game, great show absolutely loved it!! :D

Even as it stands it looks a tad suspect. I think we know that contestants are asked for their favourite numbers and all of that kind of stuff. Kinda strange that the 250k was in David's favourite number. I remember, vaguely, him saying something about how box 10 represented his favourite number and how difficult it would be deciding whether to swap or not.

And yes, the Banker's offer was pisspotical - definitely designed to "encourage" a No Deal. It's eminently possible that a swap would have been offered (and just as possible that it wouldn't, I suppose), and, either way, it would have been compelling telly.

Oh - and on the Culshaw thing... Sorry - fell flat for me. But then again, I reckon he only does Tom Baker and Bush really well, with a half decent Tony Blair. His Noel is not at all good.

Er, seeing as though the the £250k has to be somewhere, why can't it be in the player's box by chance?

Even if David had have had the quarter-million in front of him, that's no evidence at all to suggest a fix.

Coincidences happen in random processes. If we never saw any coincidences at all, then that would be absolutely remarkable.

(No offence, like. But conspiracy theorists make me laugh.)

And as for the low £70k offer. Yes, it was low for the board. But it couldn't have been too low, seeing as though David actually took it!
