Totally agree, and who would have refused the £38,000 bankers offer with the chance of getting 10p in the last round. It will take some bottle for someone to win the £250,000 :?

Very, very interesting change of Banker strategy there - raising the offer after the quarter-million went. Perhaps the Banker has realised that forcing the players on will often cost him dearly (the mean of the values in the boxes, and hence the mean win in theory if everyone took their box, is just over £25,700, and in fact the mean win so far has been around £17,000).

And a deflated hypothetical offer. That's just crazy.

I'd have done what Charles did too, btw.
