I was yelling no swap. Why on earth swap? Sorry, but it's Ridiculous. The banker only offers the swap as a mind game - to unsettle the player. And it worked. Again. And like Matt's £5,000 vs £50,000, when everyone cheered because they thought it was the £50,000, everyone cheered at first because they thought the £1,000 was actually the £100,000.

Anyway, well done Barbara, for an exciting game at teh end, enjoy your £1,000.

Really? I might possibly have dealt, but I thought that was a ridiculously mean offer - I'd think it was pretty mean on a £1k/£75k final two, let alone a £1k/£100k! No idea why the Banker was so harsh at the end of the game, unless it was to do with Barbara saying she wasn't a gambler. (Which turned out to be not really true!)

I'd have gone on, that offer was mean, but I'm glad they did it, to encourage her to go on! If only she never swapped

People normally say they're a gambler and then deal, like Pat G, not the other way around!

I would never swap with a board where the two amounts are so apart. but i would have taken the 22,000 in the first place

I wonder why Barbara said it was "fine" when she gambled away 22 grand.
Why dont they be honest after losing large amounts of money, and admit that they are absolutely gutted and feel like topping themselves.

Argh! Never swap when you have two values that are a long way away from each other. End of. :)

Apart from that, she did everything right - the banker deserved to be punished for his unbelievably stingy offers!

Either that or very greedy/stupid.

Like Lucy going all the way to the end and winning £5 after she had often given very sensible conservative advice to the contestants.

Apparently HRH The Queen watches DoND.
I wonder if she joins in and chants "blue, blue blue"?

Why did both Noel and Barbara both agree that tghe £5k penultimate offer was a good offer? I thought it was a cr*p offer, as was the £22k. I was expecting £28k - £32k - I mean look at Gaz's £10k and £100k, a VERY similar board... he got offered£35k!

I think the producers were trying to hook the new Sunday viewers by making Barbara go all the way through giving her rubbish offers so it would be a game full of tension and drama. Well it certainly was that!

The 22K offer really made Buddy's £50,000 look HUGE. I'm glad the offer was low, so that a no deal was an easier decision to make! That game had me on the edge of my seat although I still feel like pukeing.

But that's the thing - the offers shouldn't make it easy to No Deal, they should test the player as much as possible. As a viewer, I thought both Buddy's and Barbara's final offers were completely rubbish for that reason.

Wow that game had me on the edge of my seat! Barbara is one gutsy lady to turn down £22,000 with £1,000 and £100,000 left! Despite it being a rubbish offer I would of taken that, it was too much of a risk. I was very disappointed when Noel revealed £1,000. I actually felt sad for her and I don't usually get that upset, I really thought she was going to win £100,000. Welldone though Barbara - It's takes people like her, to go on and win that £250,000. :D
