The roof really did come off, I'm pleased for her. :D

£22,000?? What's going on? She surely is going to play on with that derisory an offer... and she does.

She is very excitable! She can lose £21,000, or win an extra £78,000. Hope it works out for her!

2 boxes left

Average: £50,500
Offer: £22,000 (highest £22,000)
Offer (%): 42.42 (highest 42.42)

Fair deal: £30,250

Barbara says she's up for it!!!

Noel is just about to open the box and the banker calls to offer the swap

Barbara asks for the swap, she says there are reasons for it but she can't tell us yet

Noel opens box 15 and reveals £1,000 - there's shouts first thinking it's the £100,000

Box 7 contains the £100,000 :(

A thrillling game, thankyou for being so brave Barbara, and sorry it didn't work out for you but congrats with 1K.
I'm amazed that the banker stuck on as low an offer as £5,000 at
the 5 box stage with the £100,000 still in play. There might have been a
significance of Barbara's box being 7 with this being the first Sunday game, and I really had a bad feeling about the swap as a result.

This one (tries to find picture that won't get censored!)

Was a Bond girl a few years ago among other things.

Oh dear God, what a game. Never swap, people! Seriously, never ever swap! That was such a horrible ending...her promise that there'd be "no tears" wasn't a very good one, as she sounded on the verge of them. :(

I think the swap was the only bad decision she did make (although obviously it was 50/50 as to whether it would be good or bad, so even then there was nothing really wrong with it), though - the last couple of offers were absolutely pathetic, and the fact that Barbara was so quick in turning them down suggests the banker completely misread her.

Very tense game. I would've dealt at £22,000. I thought it was a stupid move no dealing though, but really made good entertainment.

Well done Barbara anyways.

I wouldn't have swapped my box, I was shocked when £1,000 was revealed. Barbara played an exciting game.

Oh dear lord. I could really throw up after that, that's why you should never swap your box. Matt's record never lasted long!

Really? I might possibly have dealt, but I thought that was a ridiculously mean offer - I'd think it was pretty mean on a £1k/£75k final two, let alone a £1k/£100k! No idea why the Banker was so harsh at the end of the game, unless it was to do with Barbara saying she wasn't a gambler. (Which turned out to be not really true!)

I agree. I'd have been looking at probably 35k minimum not to play on there. I'd like to deal in that situation and not be forced to open my box to see what I've won but if the Banker is going to pop in something derisory like 22k, I think I'd have no choice but to play on.
