£25,000 actually.

Another stupid desicion, although it wasn't too early.

I hope people learn from this.

Pointless trivia: This is box 1's highest ever value on the table.

Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing wakey, everyone could beat this game after the game has been played out......

I don't agree with Noel that Steve lacked bottle,
I think he showed a lot of character in winning his 25K
and given what he said he wanted to do with the money,
would it have been worth the gamble had it all gone wrong?
Well done Steve!

Rico, the board was too stable for any real chance of disaster.

Kestral, what are you trying to say?

Thats just ridiculous Daniel. Obviously people losing HUGE sums has no effect on you. Rubbish £20,000 is dealing money. I bet you wouldn't have said that back in March.

Oh. Dear. God.

The average at the time of that offer was £23,114.59. For the offer to be so close to the mean at only the third offer is amazingly generous, I think. I doubt there've been many third offers that high without the £250k in play. And for me, £20k is dealing money. I might not have any kind of family responsibilites or anything, but I hope to be off to uni next year, and £20k would be extremely useful for that. I might be a bit disappointed if it turned out that I had the £100k (or £50k, as it turned out it was) in my box, but at the end of the day I'd still be delighted with £20k - not life-changing, no, but certainly a big help towards my future. Perhaps when you have to start thinking about spending money on things other than sweets and video games, or whatever, you'll understand that a bit more.

Anyway, well done to Steve...his game at the end reminded me a bit of the original Sandra's, although he got a much better offer. I think Noel was a bit harsh on him...I can see why people could get annoyed with him, but it all seemed pretty tongue-in-cheek to me.

I've been waiting ages for a contestant to say "I hope it's a high red you *******", and although I'm sure Lisa didn't mean it, I bet she felt really awful when she revealed the £250K. I'm sorry though, I couldn't help laughing at this piece of misfortune. That's not like me at all. :-D

I odn't just spend money on video games and sweets. I am saving what I have for when I need it, i.e University. Maybe I am a gambler, But its the third offer.

Wakey, I beg you - please go one show without saying how they should have played on, you hope people learn from this, yada yada yada. You're sounding like a stuck record and a parody of yourself. We all know your feelings about dealing, we accept them but you don't need to drone on about them after every show.

Anyways, it sounds like it was an "interesting" game. I too would have dealt at the 25k but money means a lot to me being a skint student. I'll look forward to downloading the end of this game later to watch. Interesting as well to see the 50k on the table again for the third time in little over a week......

Well....at the point he dealt there was only a 10% chance of a much bigger offer (the 10% he actually hit!) - even the next best combo, 100k/10k would have only been a small increase given David and Gaz's offers, and really no different utility wise.

100k/3k and 100k/£10 would have been 30k max, and probably ripe for a stick, as would the best combination without the 100k, 50k/10k (though he did raise it to 30k for Pennie, I can't see him doing it for Steve).

Any other combination would have seen a significant drop, so on balance he did the right thing, was just unlucky to hit the 10% :(

I'm sure he'll be happy when he gets the cheque though, well done Steve! :)

There was only a 40% chance of retaining the 100K at the 5 box stage, and losing that
would have virtually guaranteed the 25K offer decreasing, and
with the £10, 3K and 10K left, it could have gone very wrong, so
it's no disgrace to deal at 25K, a lot of money to throw away if you
have dreams that can be fulfilled with it.

With the £50,000 still in play (who cares about 100k, it's all about 50k), I was screaming "WHAT!?!?" when he dealt at £25,000... I would've gone on. Definitely. And I would've ND'd at £70,000.

He would've won £50,000! FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS! Ahem.

I didn't really like him all that much... he was a bit rude and annoying >_> But nyeh, 'grats on your £25,000...

When was the last time someone had £250,000 in their box?

Hahaha...would you rather have had the £50k than the £100k, Zeddie?

Debbie was the last person to have the £250k at the table - she played in the first show on 17th June and dealt for £15k.

Obviously ^_^ Winning the £50,000 is like... well I can't think of some sort of miracle scenario right now, but it's special >_>
