The banker calls and says that round didn't go the way he wanted, Noel asks Ashley what he thinks the offer is, Ashley says somewhere in the £20,000's which surprises Noel.

Noel calls a break before revealing the actual amount

Looking at the stats, I think the offer will be £20,000. In fact, just over £22,000 is very good.

The offer is 76.5% of the average, but it is a strong board. I'm not sure what I would do, and he may feel compelled to continue because of the previous three games. It's a tricky one.

8 boxes left

Average: £28,845
Offer: £22,063.79 (highest £22,063.79)
Offer (%): 76.49 (highest 76.49)

2 box median: £22,500
Fair deal: £15,663

Highest future average: £28,076 (5 boxes left)
Risk of collapse: 21%

Noel asks the 'Pilgrims' what they think and to stand up for NO DEAL - the majority stand up.....

Ashley says that's a years salary and is unsure what to do, he goes to his friends who say he will be really unlucky to take the 3 higher amounts out in the next round.

Ashley says

NO DEAL

The hands on head is a big tell. The banker has made an offer which in theory he can't deal at, for it would be admitting his previous no deal was a mistake. He must play on, and he does.

5 boxes left

Average: £19,002
Offer: £9,990 (highest £22,064)
Offer (%): 52.57 (highest 76.49)

2 box median: £8,753
Fair deal: £8,856

Risk of collapse: 30%

6 - £15,000

13 - 10p incredible cheers and applause

7 - £5,000 big cheers again

£10 and £75,000 final 2

Banker time

I guessed it would be £26,379, and £19,990 isn't nearly as good. The stats say it is barely better value than the previous offer, so it depends how much he wants the money.

2 boxes left

Average: £37,505
Offer: £19,990 (highest £22,064)
Offer (%): 53.29 (highest 76.49)

Fair deal: £19,186

Ashley debates is it worth gambling £20,000 for an extra £55,000.

Noel pushes the fact he could walk home now with a years salary.

Ashley says

DEAL
