Yeah, Candice is the only one who swapped for the lower amount - she swapped £75k for £500.

That's what I thought, but Noel or anyone else didn't mention it, unless it was edited out. But do you think they honestly did mention it? I doubt it... they were all seduced by the orange looking board, and i can't blame them, to be honest. I'm surprised the banker didn't slap Matt's wrists for not considering the offer enough, though. Again, that could've been edited out...but I think his later offers were high enough that the banker still had respect for him.

hope your bruises have faded from the beating you must have given yourself for swapping.

:x DAMN! The first game I've missed in months and it was a great one like this. I could smash my video recorder up for not recording this one!

The only scenarios where I'd swap are with 2 blues, two reds that are quite close together (like Gary's 10k and 15k or Julia's 15k and 20k), or a low red/high blue like £3k/£750.

Anything else I would have regrets about giving the money away, wheareas I could accept it if it had never been in front of me.

Matt's and Connell's swaps are deffinitely the most painful, but who, statistically has done the best? I'm thinking Janelle of all people, with Khanny a close second!

Gary from February swapped £10k for £15k, Janelle swapped 50p for £5,000, and Khanny swapped £5 for £5,000.

I'm still trying to get over how unlucky Matt was to have his game fall apart the way it did. I was definitely thinking "strong £250,000" candidate, especially as he no dealed the £35,000 (sorry Wakey but I would have to seriously consider it - it's a couple of nice holidays and debts payed off at least). So many games seem to have been like that recently. :(

On a slightly different note, I have to agree on Noel becoming annoying. I have a lot of respect for the bloke - he is normally a truly excellent host for DoND but just lately he's becoming a bit too tedious and irritating. Come on Noel - stop making even more of a fool of yourself than you normally do!

Well,Noel was ill just before the current shows were recorded... but that's no excuse for making people feel bad about dealing too early, e.g. Michaela. :smt018

I sometimes get a fair bit of stick for revealing to friends that i think 'Deal or No Deal' is the best TV programme around...

They say 'But it's just people randomly opening boxes. You don't need any intelligence or skill to do that'

A game like today's makes me realise that all of us here are right and the rest of the world is completely wrong! :-D

If the hypothetical Martian came down to earth and wanted to know what all the fuss was about Deal or No Deal, you'd show them that game. Best game since Gaz - by an absolute mile.

I think an alien would be scared off instantly by Noel's shirts. Or maybe Noel buys them from outer space.

It's a shame Matt's game didn't have the same monetary outcome as Gaz's. :(

There's a fine line between bravery, greed and sheer stupidity, I won't say what I thought which one it was cos i'll get lynched.

But it was an exciting game to watch.

It's stupid to say that if someone gambles and wins they have made a clever decision and if they lose their decision was stupid. When you make a decision with a 50/50 chance it is either a wise or stupid decision, or somewhere in between, regardless of the outcome.

But I don't want to wait another possible month or so to see another player at the situation where they go for their box and there are two values left, one is huge. I'm hoping we will see one like that today.

I also like the way Noel makes fools out of the prats who deal early, because he might want the entertainment, and thats his job really. To make the show as entertaining as possible. I just love it when we get to the two box stage, someone no deals the last offer, and one of the remaining values is huge. The suspense and excitment is just too much better then dealing before the the show is even half done. So thats why people like Micheala and Barbara etc. etc. piss me off a bit. I actually don't mind if someone dealt for a huge sum of money early, but when its only in the region of £13K it just drains the excitment.

Perhaps, but it is not the contestants' job, and therefore none of them should have to put up with Noel either goading them into No Dealing, or criticising them after taking a deal. It really annoyed me how he gave Matt that big motivational speech about "staying true to your personality and your heart", or whatever, when surely that's what the contestants who've taken early deals have done too? At the end of the day, Michaela went home with £24k and Matt went with £5k. I know whose position I'd rather be in.

But you wouldn't have swapped would you, considering you took his boxes? Most people would have won £50,000. So Micheala won £24,000 and the majority wouldn't have swapped in Matt's game, therefore winning £50,000. I know who's position I would rather be in.
