Aww, I was screaming "DON'T SWAP DON'T SWAP!" :(

Ah well, an excellent game, shame he didn't win £50,000, with the luck he had at the start, he soo deserved the £50,000 :( Everyone deserves £50,000.

First offer @ £20,000, crazy lol.

I don't agree Matt was the "gutsiest" player as Noel described him though. 2nd maybe, but I think Morris still tops the chart at that, with his whole declining £101,000.

But yea, 'grats on your £5,000.

Well done Matt- that is the kind of passion and courage that will cause someone to win the £250,000 soon I reckon. To get 8 blues in a row is around a 1 in 2000 chance, or to put it another way, would be likely to happen once in around 6 years. All the very best for the future mate, a classic game that provided a lot of entertainment for the watching millions, and you did yourself a lot of credit!

I was just begging for it to be £50,000, for him, and for two £50,000 wins in a row. Has anyone won the same value twice in a row?

1p Sal was a Saturday show... 1p Connell was a Monday show... but there was a week in between them wasn't there?

Nope - Sally played on a Friday, then Buddy won £50k on the Saturday, followed by Connell winning 1p on the Monday. Don't think the same amount's ever been won twice in a row.

Sad day for Aaron (aka Bushy) today, he's seen his name wiped from the DOND record books completely! Best opening blue sequence, highest first offer (OK I know Khanny had already taken that one last week) and highest second offer.

Maybe we should invite Matt on here to be our next contestant moderator...

i can't believe he swapped nobody's never swapped that much money away before, even if he kept the box and there was £5k in there it wouldn't of been as bad. it was hard watching matt cry at the end but it was a good game and well done to him i hope matt still isn't upset about what happened i hope he got over it

I don't get that statement. He won £87,000. Do you mean Lance? or did you not like him or something,

I was dissapointed that he dealed. I really wanted him to win £100,000 but he made the most strange decision ever.

Matt also got another record - worst swap ever. :? Previous worst was Fin swapping £20k for £10k, I think. (Well, "worst" in terms of "most money lost"...I'd argue that it was a lot better than Connell's swap!)

I've just realised I would never have had an OPW, as you can't swap after you've dealt.

Who's for bets on Matt being the next contestant to feature on Wakey's signature? :)

But I just knew, I don't know why, but that game was peaking too early, the first 2 rounds were just too good to be true. The £35k second offer was a no deal really, but I'd have been worried, since hitting anything at the sharp end would slash that offer. After all, there were only 4 out of 14 higher values!!

But that was Khanny part 2 in all honesty, I couldn't be happy with winning £5k after turning down £35k or £48k. I think the only scenarios that I'd be happy with £5k was if I had such a rubbish game that the offers were never that high and it was in my box (such as Emma B), or take a cut-your-losses deal on a fragile board and end up with a blue in my box. :)

And I was shouting "DON'T SWAP"!

I just hope that this doesn't spark a period of early deals, I know I come across as a dealer, but I do like to see a mixture of dealers and gamblers, I just wish the dealers would have trainwrecks after dealing, and the gamblers to have big money in their box!!

A few players have been allowed the swap after they dealt, Candice I think was the first, Mark W did it as well and I think there was another more recent one.

Roy and Nev also did hypothetical swaps - I think on all those occasions, the post-deal swap had revealed the higher amount hasn't it? I may be wrong with Candice as I never saw her game!
