Questions:

Do you REALLY think I would have been offered £8400 after round 5?

And do you think I did the best deal? What would you have done?

I hated dealing that early and that low, but I had seen Trevor get 1p and Mike get £1 and I just thought, it's going wrong, cover your back!

Well done Flash, you had a very tough decision and I think you made the right one.

Like you say, it's very different sitting there in the hotseat. I was on 'Can't cook, won't cook' about 8-9 years ago (it's a long story!)

So, can you say whether you met the banker afterwards??

Hey Flash, great show, just a pity you couldn't have come away with more. It was certainly not boring!

I don't think he would have offered the £8,400, he would have probably offered a little less - expect around the £6,000 trying to force you on again.

I would have gone on at the point you dealt, but that's me - I would have then been VERY worried after the next round though with the lower offer and played on. How it played out from there I wouldn't like to guess what I would have done :? If the offers were still coming in low I would have probably played the game out to the end....

I think it would have been about 6k again too, Kestral... I think the "proveout" offers are about 1/3 higher than they would really be.

After people asked about my show I said I was "pleased but disappointed".... Gutted with how the game went but pleased with how I played it.

If only more money had been there!

Oh well. We are ordering a new sofa and carpet in the lounge as I speak :)

Thanks for your support guys, your comments are very welcome, good or bad!

Congratulations flash :-D

I have to ask one thing though....when your name came up, was you disappointed that you had to play and that you couldn't stay for any longer?

I think I would be

Well done Flash! I have to admit I was a little disappointed when you dealt so early but it turned out to be more or less the perfect decision, so you're a much better player than I would be!

I think £8,400 was a little high - after losing the highest number I think he'd have kept it low to punish you for that and try and get you to play on and lose the £50k as well.

Hiya Flash

Well done sweetie. U did great! I am pleased you listened to me in the bar after my game (at least i wasnt too drunk at that stage!) YOU BEAT THE BANKER - HOORAH!!!!

I would have loved you to get more but 6K is still a healthy chunk of money. You were just sooo unlucky to take out the 2 big numbers in round 1. Your game was very similar to Helen's on valentine's day - both of you just weren't destined to get higher offers.

Enjoy every single penny, you deserved it and have a fantastic wedding :D

p.s. how on earth do you guys manage to watch the show and commentate at the same time. I am focused on the tv screen the whole time!

Well the one thing that worried me is that my family were in the audience and I had said the ONE show I didn't want to play was with them there, I invited them early because I couldn't POSSIBLY play so early... and then everyone got flu and they chose me. Oh well.

I was more shocked than disappointed. Then disappointed came in the bar that night.

Steve, computer novice here. How do you edit previous text and then reply to it, like you did with my posting?

Lisa! Hi! seriously, a large part of my deal was based on what you said in the pub the night you left... when we had seen Trevor and Mike get pennies... I wanted to play on but I just *couldnt*. So thank you.

And I used commentating as an excuse to not look :)

Went a bit messy when we got to the proveout round and it was edited to quicker than I could type, but I'll tidy that when I get to see a recording :)
