Banker would have offered £1,500 - Rob says he would have said DEAL.

Noel opens Rob's box 16 to reveal £3,000

Box 19 has the £500

Ooh, that was a bit of an odd one. I was very surprised that he dealt when he did, but he was obviously scared by it being a one box game, and it was really nice that he wanted the money for his kids. Shame he didn't take the £20k (and 10p  ), but he was amazingly unlucky to take out all four Power Fives he had left in a row. I really liked Rob - he seemed like a really nice guy and it made a change to have a quiet, gentle game.

Sadly, though, this could turn out to be the worst week ever - a record which was only just broken in the last week before the break! Tomorrow's contestant needs to win more than £9,310.02 to stop that happening. (The good news is that Sandra's still the biggest winner of the week. :D )

"A perfect deal at the right time?" said Noel. No it wasn't, he could've got £20,000.10!
Have you noticed that Noel seems to be pushing players to decline early offers lately, and seems to gloss over the fact that some contestants rejected really high offers. It's all about courage now when it used to be all about timing!

Well I haven't seen it yet, and will be going out soon, so won't get to see the end on the More4 repeat. Sounds like another absolute pig of a game - I think he was right to turn down £20k with four of the power five still there, but then had the worst round in the history of the game (with the possible exception of Amy). At least he still got a meaningful sum, which is something - I actually think it takes courage not to chase the £75k in a one-box game after a round like that, so good on him!

I can actually see this being the worst week ever, even with only yesterday's game as an absolute trainwreck - it's the fact that there's only been one 5-figure win (and even then only just!).

And putting Joseph in Rob's old position will just be plain WRONG.

Good on Rob to ignore Noel's pressure and not chase the big money when it had really all gone.

Last week - best week ever. Week before the break - worst week ever. This week - could be worst week ever again. That's clearly because we're getting more people going to the end despite high early offers, and that in turn is clearly because Noel is influencing the game. Sometimes, he's frankly ruining it.

But since the best week ever came after the worst week ever, you would think people would deal early after seeing the crap games that happened the week before, and even Lindsays game! Noel's influencing certainly influenced Nick and Lance's game didn't they! Every word he says is correct.

Wakey - Shush.

Sal - We do like him, we just want him to play so Joseph can replace him and go back to his old position! Sounds like that doesn't happen, though. :(
