I know - call me mean, but when Noel opened her box I cheered, because I wanted a £50 winner. It was a slight consolation for the CRUSHING DISAPPOINTMENT of Maddie STEALING the £250k from Michaela, anyway...

It's a shame for Sarah, but I can't say I feel particularly sorry for her - she took a big gamble, and it didn't pay off. She was clearly an "all or nothing" type player, so she must have been prepared to go away with the nothing. Still sad, though. :(

Because dealing sucks, as proved from Lance, Steph, Nick and Paul, and a hell of a lot of others.

And no dealing sucks as proved by....well, Sarah :?

Yes, but the amount of people who *could* have had more, or won huge by no dealing have outweighed the people who have had trainwrecks!

What a shame. Sarah played the game well, but she was unlucky.

That may be true.

You are, however, discounting the people who could have had trainwrecks only to Deal for good money - like Nick last week.

And then there is the common situation of people who deal early, could have had more, but would have had a trainwreck had they gone on to the end.

Someone else has mentioned it! :D

I do hope Sal is the exception (Sam and Saj) rather than the rule ( erm, everyone else!)

God, I hate this game sometimes!!!!!

We're in one of those horrible runs (again) where the people who gamble end up with trainwrecks (with the exception of Lance), and the people who play it safe could have had a load more. Gah! I was shouting DEAL at the TV when the second offer of £20k came, with basically the top two and nothing else. Reminded me somewhat of Carlton and £1 Gary's games.

The banker is going to be taking full advantage of this by being extra stingy, so I hope more players follow Sarah's lead and take the fight to him - just get better luck!

And no, I'm not happy someone has finally won £50. :(

What a stupid *beep* ing audience. They 'Ooh' at the £5,000.

Not only that, Noel's reaction to the £1,000 - "Ooh, ANOTHER red" was hilarious, it was like it was £35k or something.....

Yay... he must be back soon. I reckon Khanny plays tomorrow, and Joseph returns on Saturday to roughly where he stood before he was ill.

Or exactly where he stood! For what it's worth, I'm predicting Helen tomorrow and Khanny on Saturday. Which would mean Joseph joins on the Monday, just like he did originally...perfect!

Don't trust Endemol with perfection!

I doubt they'll have much choice but to take the fight to him. Some of the offers will be ludicrous, no doubt, and there won't be much choice but to No Deal.

Joseph's seemingly imminent return to the wings could provide a boost - he was one of the top mathematicians of the wings wasn't he?

Is this the third game where a swap has been offered at the first stage?

I always seem to miss the games where a swap is offered at the first offer... >_>
