It's been a funny old week so far.....

Coming back from a week of turmoil culimnating with Giorgio's unfortunate 1p game.

LOW Started off badly with Lindsay and £500.

HIGH Nick winning £45,000 and beating the banker brilliantly

HIGH Lance and £87,000.

LOW Sharron becomes the 8th 1p club member!

High's and low's of Everest proportions, but it certainly has been one thrilling week.
what about the biggest win ever on saturday? :-D :-D :-D

But 4 1p winners in 12 games, unbeliveable, a third of players have had that misfortune and considering the gap between Dave E's game on April 25th and Sally was 77 shows. The longest gap between 1p games.

Another Lance like game is needed tomorrow.....Shows after such games don't bode well i hasten to add as well, with the exception of Buddy and Jenni from 3/1/2006, players have left with low amounts. Who knows though?

And where was the lucky hat?

what about the best game ever on saturday? :-D :-D :-D

That was a cruelly low offer at the end given the £20,000 was still there, you would have expected £6,000 and it was the right decision to no deal despite the outcome.

I didn't think I would be the only person to stand but she was having such a bad game that i had a feeling it would continue to go downhill so I didn't stand up with the intention of noel coming over but that was obviously a bonus. He was loving me!! ha ha :-D

It's been a very memorable week, hasn't it? Will be interesting if today and Saturday keep up the trend. It's essentially exactly what Endemol want - if we had a week of boring games where all the reds go, all the offers are low and the contestant wins peanuts (which is really what happened to Sharron, but she made it memorable in her quest to win the 1p) people would turn off, and ratings would plummet.

Had she won £20,000 she'd be Vanessa Part 2. She also had ridiculously low offers all game, but went on to open her box and win £20,000, way higher than her biggest offer of £6,200.

Clear proof that this game doesn't like you if your female and your name begins with S..

Shell had an offer of £4,300 for an all-blue opening
Sara missed out on the dream finish.
Sandra won £12,900 but had £100,000
Simone won £1
Stevie won £1,300 after rejecting £21,056
Sally won 1p
Sharron won 1p

:D :D

(of course there is always an exception. Sam won £41,000 Edit: and Saj won £50,000)

(plus the two Sarahs, who did ok)

We'll see what Sal wins then! You forgot Sarah (1) and Sarah (2) as well as Saj!

Hello Sharron here

Thanks for being so nice about my game guys, I've had quite a hard time on the Channel 4 site for saying £20K wouldnt change my life and it has kind of upset me!

I didnt mean I didnt WANT £20k - I meant that if fate dealt me the 1p instead it wouldnt be a decisive moment in my life, 20K would have been great - but I couldnt really retire off it or anything!

I'm not mega-rich, but I'm not mega poor either - I'm just like most other working people and realistically it would have been BRILLIANT to win a lot of money, but I dont feel bitter because i didnt because i knew the risks and i enjoyed every minute of it. In fact i suprised myself as I'm not usually a gambler... now you know why!

Hello Leanne, and thank you for contributing to my game! send me a private message and I'll send you my email address if you want to stay in touch.

Once again, thanks guys for your support - it REALLY means a lot to me, I dont know what it is about forums that makes people think that they can be as rude as they want about you - I know many of the people who were nasty have applied to the show themselves - so it could well be THEM at the other end of it sometime soon.

At the end of the day, the contestants are just normal people plucked off the street - I dont regret ANYTHING I said or did and although, i've done a gameshow and been on telly now and so dont think I'd go on any others.

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT !!! And if you do get round to that meet up - let me know!

Love Ya,

Sharron xx

Hi Sharron! The people on the Channel 4 site will moan about anything...personally, I'm glad you said that! If you'd said "Ooh I desperately need the £20k and my life won't be able to go on without it", it'd have been even more painful when you didn't win it! I love seeing people who just take the game as it comes and don't take anything too seriously, and that's just what you did.
