Crap.

£3,000 was crap even by THAT banker's standards.

I even grabbed a rock from the garden and started rubbing it. Stupid rock.

When did we go back in time six months to the sequence games? That was despicable - not one meaningful offer. Unbearable viewing.

:x That last offer was ABYSMAL!

That woman in the audience was right after all - she should have dealt at 4,500k as she had no better offers the whole game!

I somehow doubt the banker would have hypothetically offered £3,000 at the end of the game with the 1p and £20k left on.

£3,000 was unfortunate and Sharron just had a string of bad luck throughout the whole game.

And now the 1p club's female membership has doubled.

Another disasterous game. That final offer was absolutly wrong and should've been higher.

...I shouldn't tape games. I think the last game I missed and had to tape was Buzz's, which had a similarly disastrous start. Although at least Buzz managed to turn it around...Sharron couldn't even do that.

Still, at least she did it in style - that was probably the most "fun" 1p game since Nick's...I obviously felt sorry for her, but I didn't feel as downright depressed as I did after Trevor's or Giorgio's games. She didn't really do anything wrong, either...just crap luck and crap offers throughout.

The £3k offer was rubbish, but I don't really blame him...why does Noel think that saying "the offer's irrelevant because she's going to go on anyway" will push it up? If I were the banker I'd say "Right, your offer's 2p then, have fun."

And that's, what....4 of the last 12 players winning 1p? That's a third of them. Dear me.

4 1p winners in 12 shows, that really is unbelievable! Noel's quote some time ago about 8 1p winners was right then, I just didn't expect the 8th one to be so soon!

They need to trade in the phonebox for something much bigger, how about that abandoned Dome by the Thames, or perhaps that Wembley Stadium they're never going to finish...

Well, I believe in the Forum Members Questionnaire, that I said if I was left with 1p and anything else I would deal? Well FORGET that! Even I wouldn't have taken that £3,000 offer.

If you go into a casino with £3,000, and get offered a 50:50 chance of either losing it all or gaining £17k is pretty much a no-brainer in anyone's books. Forget utility curves!

Actually, of all the 1p games, that the least painful of them - she didn't turn down a huge offer like Sally, she never had a good board like Nick, she was never one box away from a life-changing sum like Trevor (except possibly at the end), and she didn't swap a large sum away like poor old Connell did, neither did she even consider it (her answering the phone to the banker was pure gold!)

Well played Sharron!

It really is all-or-nothing at the moment though. It's certainly much more exciting that a series of high 4-figure and low 5-figure wins!

Yep I was right - and as for that offer- do you think it's anything to do with the fact the B*nker had to write out a cheque for £87,000 YESTERDAY!!!!! :? BoB

no, in real life it was actually EARLIER THAT DAY. they do 3 shows a day, which means there was Nick with £45K in the morning, then Lance with £87,000 in the first one in the afternoon, then Sharron with 1p the last game of the real day. .

I think Lance's was the first game of the day, actually...Double Deal Week messed things up a bit. I might be wrong, though.

It's been a funny old week so far.....

Coming back from a week of turmoil culimnating with Giorgio's unfortunate 1p game.

LOW Started off badly with Lindsay and £500.

HIGH Nick winning £45,000 and beating the banker brilliantly

HIGH Lance and £87,000.

LOW Sharron becomes the 8th 1p club member!

High's and low's of Everest proportions, but it certainly has been one thrilling week.

But 4 1p winners in 12 games, unbeliveable, a third of players have had that misfortune and considering the gap between Dave E's game on April 25th and Sally was 77 shows. The longest gap between 1p games.

Another Lance like game is needed tomorrow.....Shows after such games don't bode well i hasten to add as well, with the exception of Buddy and Jenni from 3/1/2006, players have left with low amounts. Who knows though?

And where was the lucky hat?
