So what week has had the best winnings? I bet if we have games like that this week will be the best. Not suprising after the 'last' week being the worst.

I think the current best week ever is the week beginning 6th March...that had total winnings of £170,522, so we'll need another £38,022 this week to beat that.

Apart from Double Deal Week, though that one had a bit of an unfair advantage with 14 games instead of 6, and still only just scraped past the record!

Hahah, good point...it wouldn't come out top if you worked out the average winnings for each week, though.

Brilliant game - and I'm glad he dealt when he did - it made his game more interesting and sparked a debate or two on here 8)

Great job Lance! 87,000 is still a substantial sum of money.

All we're now waiting for is the first ever quarter of a millionaire.

Phenomenal courage to no deal at the 5 box stage, to have the 75K and 100K left after those 3 boxes was only a 10% chance, congratulations Lance, one of the most memorable games ever!

ADMIN EDIT: I have edited your post to hide the spoiler of who is playing todays game as most members here do not like to know in advance who is playing.

Depends how you define 'best', really. You could argue that since Lance had no chance of winning the quarter-million, that there are actually 21 better combinations. (Although I think I'd personally prefer what Lance had than a £250k/blue final two.)

By the way, there are actually 231 possible combinations available at the two-box showdown.

Based on the FD value, it's the eighth-best; £250k and £10k produces a FD of exactly £90k, £250k and £5k 'only' £81,427.67. (£75k/£100k produces a FD of £87,051.27.) But meh.

And funly enough, didn't Sara have the 1/231 chance of having her final two?

So glad to see the Show back. Missed it. Great game for Lance and Nick. What a start to a new series, let's hope someone gets the Biggie this series.
