Don't see why it mattered that he dealt at the end, would have been annoying in a £100k/£250k scenario but why not walk away for a unique amount when both the remaining box amounts have been won in the past?

Anyway great game and great character, putting an end to the pattern of the most entertaining contestants going home with peanuts. And we now know where the name "Professor Farty" (as mad Paul called him, was Lance really there as long ago as his game?!) came from!

Well it's that five week break... in terms of calendar time, we actually waited longer for Lance's game than we did for Lucy's :shock:

WHAT A GAME!!!!! WHAT A CONTESTANT!!!!

The second offer would have tempted me, I'm afraid to admit, but that would have been such an anti-climax. Turning down £17.5k with two huge reds and three blues was the biggest risk he took but it paid off big time. There was a 30% chance of disaster, and only 10% chance of what actually happened.

I know most people would have no-dealt the £87k, but I think I know why he dealt. He would have been overjoyed with any possible outcome at the end, but there had been previous winners of £100k and £75k, but not £87k, and wanted to be a first. Hall of Fame 2 please, NOW!

Though that offer could come up again on a £250k/blue last two, and would almost certainly be dealt, and would be infintely more risky than Lance's last two!

The only thing Lance really missed out on was a place on this list - which is itself missing at least 40 people anyway (the £125k winners on Millionaire)...

excellent game. what a show and what a laugh lance was. we need that guy on here :-D

i personally would have gone on in his postion as 75k is a nice amount to take, but netherless he did brilliant

I didn't see that finish coming at all either, I heard rumours about a fairly big win just after the break but assumed that was Nick yesterday, I also heard someone suggest that Lance did "quite well", so I was expecting him to hit the £75k and then deal for about £30k with £1 and £100,000 left. Still, he was strongly rumoured to be one of the victims of "1p week" before the break!
