This was a Fantastic Game. 6 blues in a row is a Record.

Well Done Nick!!!!!!!!

Even the latest John took out 6 blues in a row, even with his record trainwreck game!

Well, after his first few rounds, blues were pretty much his only option!

Hello all, remember me?!?

What a great game for today's show. I thought he'd gone too early at £45,000. How wrong could I get?

Superb show and reminded me why I love DOND as much as I do!

Well done Nick!

AT LAST!!!!

Finally, a game where someone deals at exactly the right time, and not only that, takes home a HUGE wad of cash! It reminded me more of Melanie's game than Brenda's to be honest.

That was so much more satisfying than Buddy's £50k somehow, maybe it was becuase he didn't REALLY take any huge gambles but I always thought no matter how good the board, he will be punished if the £250,000 goes in active play.

That should ramp up the average winnings achieved by contestants called Nick, they've got progressively better!

And another big win with Box 13, yes definitely my favourite box now. :)
The last four games with it at the table have produced wins of £21k, £100k, £25k and £45k!

Remember, with 1 box to go till the 4th offer, the £250,000 going would have resulted at the very worse, a stick as the game was going so good. An all red squishdown is worrying enough for me if i was in Nick's place.

Hmm, I'm not so sure. One of the first games I saw was Marie's in January, she had a very similar board at the 2nd break, had been offered £30,000 at the end of the 3rd round, the £250,000 was revealed straight after the break (after a decent first two boxes of the round), and it dropped to something ridiculous like £8k, even with a good board!!!

She nearly went with 1p if my memory serves me correctly! :(

Remember how the banker offered Nick £8,000 even though the £100,000 went? Thats how ludicrous the offers are nowadays.

Also, Nick is the first member of the new series who'll probably make the next DOND Hall of Fame.

At last, something that gets us talking about DOND rather than the petty squabbles that have haunted the last few weeks! :-D

Well played Nick. Very brave to carry on at £31000 bearing in mind what he would have witnessed in the previous few games. And I thought the new contestant Vee looked a little like our Cherry Blossom actually. Which is no bad thing. :D
