Interesting. That'd have been an average and forgettable game had they not had Noel's Lucky Hat and the walk into the streets of Bristol. Although £500's still an ok sum - much better than 1p.

Aww I liked Lindsay on the wings and in the chair. What a horrible way to start the new "season". The £7,000 was pretty poor in comparison to the huge £100,000 left in play but I probably would have had to take it, simply to prevent the scenario that actually happened.

I liked the new "previous offers" graphic but I wasn't a fan of the hat or Noel telling the Banker to hold on and ring back. I don't know when they started trying to be funny.....

Anyway, I hope tomorrow's contestant does better - this run of bad luck is quite crap to watch.

Not the way we wanted the new series to start, we need a change of luck soon!

I had read something about the going outside the studio bit, think it was on Digital Spy or somewhere, didn't know it was on the first show back though.

I seriously thought Noel fancied her, he was being really stupid today.

Anyway, it is box 3. What do you expect? So how does this shape up as being altogether on the table? Quite crap i'd imagine.

Good for Lindsay, £500 is spendable.

Its worrying that that the ave is about £ 15,600 and that is only about 10/15 boxes into the game..but most just go passed this number and then go away with less than the ave..

strange

There was only a 36% chance of the offer of £12,500 being improved upon from the 8 box to the 5 box stage. The banker usually makes poor offers when it gets to a one box game anyway. At the 8 box stage it is better to no deal when you have either just one big number or three or more big numbers on the board.

Well that game was um...slightlly different...

It looked really weird seeing all the contestants again, especially when I only recognised about half of them. Poor Lindsay, I really wanted her go away with loads more money, not the result I was hoping for...

It's wrong.

There have actually been 235 players so far. (Noel said himself at the start of the show today that 'season' 1 had 234 games. And whilst Noel isn't famed for his accuracy, he was right about that one.)
