Ouch...I think she had the worst board possible with eight boxes left. (In terms of having a difficult decision, that is - obviously not as bad as a board with eight blues!) I really have no idea what I'd have done...I'd probably have done the same as her and Dealt for £8.3k, but it would be a really tough call with the £250k still there. Such a shame that she would have got what she wanted if she'd gone on, but she seemed happy with her winnings and beat her box by a long way!

And I think I'm in love with Audrey...

Leigh has to be the worst contestant at predicting what's in his box ever. Has he ever got it right?

My favourites are probably Kai, Audrey and Madie.

Hahah, Adrienne was pretty bad too, when she was on the wings...she always said things like "I've been warning you not to pick this one, I'm sure it's big", before lifting the lid on something like 10p.

These proveout offers are ridiculously high - £39k for £250k plus rubbish?? I thought Natalie's and Maurice's proveout offers at the deal of two were stupidly high as well!

And is it just me or whenever Box 6 is at the table it usually has small change in it? Tonight it had £1, Fadil and Giorgio both had it for their 1p, Joan had it with 10p, Paul (3 July) had it with £1, Vic had it with £10. (though luckliy the latter two had dealt)! Also Massimo had 6 and a terrible game despite a decent amount in it!

Not sure...you'd never get that these days, I agree, but people in these early shows did get amazingly high offers like that in active play with the £250k and not much else. I won't mention who just in case anyone considers it a spoiler, but there are a few obvious examples!

SPOILER-----

If Jennifer played nowadays, she would have easily walked away with £90,000 or less.

Didn't see this repeat showing at the time (though saw the original showing in November) as I'd just begun a two-week stay in Devon the previous day, but I timer recorded it on video.

That board at the £8.3k offer was really dangerous. Six blues (including 1p and 10p), £1,000, £250,000. I'm not surprised she dealt. Also noticed a few technical errors - the thing that zoomed on after part 2 saying 'Competition closed' wasn't synchronised exactly to the original graphic, so as it zoomed off you could see the original phone number, etc. Also, after the second offer was revealed, just as the camera cut away from Adrienne, you could see the £50 zooming off the screen - but when it cut back, it was back. And the next box she opened was...£50!

Madness.
