I didn't understand what you were getting at. I'm still not quite sure how it was meant to be joke, but anyway. Glad it's been clarified.

Good. I'm just glad ross hasn't came in here and said i was creating another argument, therefore getting me into trouble for nothing.

Lets move along now...

Fantastic game, so pleased he dealt, even though the £250k was in his box - there's no way I would have gambled on that board, I wonder if anyone at all (Madie?) would have done!

Did the banker take some kind of substance during round 5? ;)

This was well before Sequencegate wasn't it?

Yup - the sequences started in Terry's game and finished in Candice's, as far as I know.

Mally would have been offered £145,000 on a £250,000/£100 split. And I have recently spotted a pig sprouting wings. :D

Thats quite a far leap. As far as i know, Terry's game was way back in Jan/Fab, and Candice was all the way forward in March! Jesus F. Kennedy!

Also funny to hear Noel say "the lowest amount anyone has won is £1,000"... That's quite surprising as we're now in, what, the 4th week of repeats?

Yes, that's true, I think it has something to do with the early generous banker though, I mean there have been way too many no-brainers, meaning all the potential train wrecks have not materialised due to the players avoiding them by dealing. Obviously things would change due to more people feeling the need to gamble on stingy offers!

Am I also right in thinking that Oli has been the only one so far to take what was in his box?

Yep.

People also seem to be Dealing for a lot less in these early episodes - I can't imagine any recent players taking the offers that Jayne, Elaine and Leigh took, for example. Might just be a coincidence, but it may be that the early players, having not seen the show before, had more realistic expectations as to what they would win and were therefore prepared to settle for less.

There's been some unbelievable gambles as well though, which have generally paid off.

The gamblers have mostly got lucky while the cautious players have avoided potential disaster - I guess there was also an element of nobody wanting to be the first one to leave with virtually nothing.

Nowadays, the gamblers end up losing everything, whilst the cautious people could have had more! So it just circles around as the gamblers get cautious by seeing previous games, but only get more gamblish when they see deal-too-early games!
