It's Jennifer then. Don't know why but I think she might do quite well.

And £3,000 - "one of the lower high amounts"? :? Come on Noel, you know the phrase is "honorary blue"...

Couple of firsts already in this game - Noel referred to the "Power Four" (£35k had gone), and Jennifer wrote her target in his book! Perhaps that was because of Jan's game, where she openly said that she wanted £20k.

Did anyone else just notice Noel mention cosmic ordering as well, he said something along the lines of perhaps it's a good time to put a cosmic order in for some good boxes.......

Hahah, this feels so fixed, when Noel keeps going on about her winning a huge amount of money and keeping the £250k to the end - I guess he says that to most people, though, and they only left it in on this occasion.

And I've only seen pictures of her so I might be mistaken, but is Sara (she of the dream final two) in the audience?

Heh, it's funny - if she'd won £750 after turning down £52k, she'd be remembered as just another idiot among the likes of John G and "Player 14". The fact that luck was on her side means she's instead known as the greatest ever player.

Still, that was fantastic - I felt the tension, despite knowing exactly what was going to happen! You could tell how she was totally in shock at the end. I'd have taken £33k, obviously....

Wow - so great to see Jennifer's show - she really did deserve the big win - I think most of us would have dealt at £55k - Well done Jennifer, enjoy. Gaz

That was an incredible final gamble, turning down over £50,000 with a 30% chance of going home with basically sod all.

I doubt very much that win will ever be exceeded unless someone actually wins the £250,000 - the only time the Banker would give a higher offer than that these days is if someone has £100k or £75k left with the quarter-million, and in that situation most people would probably go for it.

I think the big winners club can run to something a bit more impressive than a phonebox!

CLASSIC!!

Great game, I knew how much she won before watching it, but not how she won it! 10p was still left in the game scarily late too!

Still early generous banker in play though. If that game had happened more recently, Gaz would be the top earner!

And Tom was only offered £33k on a £250k/£100k/rubbish last five. Surely the fact that the two of the blues were the highest doesn't make a difference of £19k surely? :)

I was amazed at how cool she stayed throughout her game I would of been jumping around with excitement, but well played the banker could not read her at all and a well deserved win :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
