A sad day for the Giorgio's small hat fanclub :(

What would have been the odds before this week on 3 1p winners in a week?

Well you can't really work out the 'odds', but the odds of the 1p being in the players box (or swapped box) 3 times out of 7 is 1 in 12242 roughly.
The odd of 3 or more is a little more likely obviously.

But with the chance of someone dealing before they open the final box the actual odds would be even longer than that.

Greeny, I kinda knew that, but 71.4% of players going onto win the 1p if they have it in their box is still amazingly large. I highly doubt any other figures are anywhere near that.

I didn't want him to go away with 1p, but I definitely would have cut my losses and gone at £2500 when there was only £35,000 left and 4 blues. Its still a huge sum of money and the chances of winning more at that stage were slim.

Well...there was a 40% chance of keeping the £35k, and getting an offer of around - actually, I've no idea what the offer would have been. Blue/£35k final twos have seen offers ranging from £7k to £17k!

But anyway, I think it was worth the risk. £2.5k is nice, but I doubt anyone would deeply regret losing it, whereas you might be pretty devastated to have missed out on £35k.

Have only just watched the show after recording it yesterday... :(

Poor old Giorgio and his hat - they never stood a chance... Hope the Banker doesn't have the Mafia after him during the summer...

To top it all off, Noel was wearing one of the worst shirts for a while...

Here comes the summer... :?

What on earth..?

I come back from holiday today, having missed the last two weeks of the show and just in time for the summer break, to find there were 3 1p winners in quick succession..!?

Wow...I was just thinking today, as well, that it had been a while since 1p was in the player's box. I think the last time that was the case was in Dave's game where he became the 4th member of the club.

Unbelievable...
