Ironically, if Giorgio had played one game earlier, he would have had the £250k in his box...

Did anyone else think that the box on the table looked unusually bright red?

You can't beat a bit of nostalgia!

Someone let me know when it's put on youtube. :-)

Another penny player!

I'd read the rumours, but somehow dismissed a third :( Poor Giorgio, that came from nowhere :(

I just realised that too. What a *beep* *beep* annoying game. UGH. Please let me swear, this game deserves it!

Although it's not really surprising that we've had so many 1p winners, and no £250k winner - the presence of 1p on the board doesn't really affect anything, whereas £250k being there causes high offers and therefore Deals. People with 1p in the box are much more likely to go to the end.

It is surprising that 1p has been won as many times as it's been in the player's box though.

Only two have ever got away from it, cancelled out by two who swapped for it at the end!

Well, for me it just proves that the games aren't fixed, cos I would have thought that if they were going to fix the final game of the series, it'd have been a BIG win, to go out with a bang and keep viewers interest.

It's true, and is happening more and more, the BEST contestants get the WORST deals. I feel so sorry for Giorgio, what a lovely guy he is.

Yes we have Lee, but it needs a moderator to correct it cos it's in the topic title.

To be honest, its not as suprising when you put it in the context that it has only been the players box twice this 7 days.

Is it? Looks fine to me. ;)

(Just changed it, was paying too much attention to Giorgio's name when I posted, and missed the date faux pas.)

I'm sad to see Giorgio leave with just a penny, especially as it's the end of the series as well. This could equally happen three times in eight shows with the £250,000, and after 32 shows without it appearing in the final two, I suspect the banker's guard will be lowered the next time it is in reach.

Five weeks without DoND, what are we gonna do? :?

I thought that was my imagination... and I still think it is. Maybe it was just the way the Saturday bright red lights were shining on it.

I cant believe how much notice you lot take watching the show. 8) I only ever half-watch anything on TV, just watch enough to know the basis of whats happening, can never watch anything so avidly that I know who's wearing what or standing where.  :-D

Unbelieveable is all I can say. I just can't believe there was another 1p winner again :!: Though I did find it an entertaining show it was just a shame he didn't win big. And I think the banker could do with a five week break as this week he seems to have been quite nasty with his offers and that evil cackle of his don't help.

Unbelievable game.

Perhaps all these low sums we've seen this week are as a result of contestants thinking "so and so had 1p the other day I can't have it" so they push themselves extra.
