...Where did Lance go?? Everyone else walked up to hug John, but he just wandered off somewhere! How odd.

Anyway, what a crap week this has been so far - £350.01 given away in three games.

At least John gets the honour of becoming the first member of the £100 club!

Come to think of it, I never see Lance going to hug the player, it's usually Chris (the person next to him?)...

And then you can always spot Paul (<3) with his lovely hair (<3<3). Lalalala.

Ahem, anyway, crazy game today... to describe it in 3 words: Whee... splat... bang.

>_> No, I don't really get it either.

Stop staring at me.

That was painful. Relentless bad luck and I didn't want my lucky number to have the biggie today (I usually do) but this is seriously turning into a very bad week.

He often does actually, I just get the impression he's not as tactile and forthcoming as some.

I noticed Lance go off too, He usually goes up to the player to see them, I thought it was sad he didnt this time. Any ex-contestents know why Lance went off, perhaps they can throw some light on it for us.

I'm not sure if the averages after the second and third rounds are the lowest on record, but it is one of the lowest I can recall. Only the game where five of the top six were lost after the second round could have been worse.

And am I right in thinking that's the first time the new player's had the £250k since Suzanne did in Simon's game?

I've looked at games 187-217, and I haven't seen the new players with the £250,000 in their boxes since Suzanne.

I did notice that three (maybe even four) of the new players had the £250k in their box on their second show.

Poor bloke :(

It's been said here many a time before but it's always the ones you want to do really well who end up with virtually nothing, at least, that's how it seems recently.

John had been great in the 'wings', always supportive and ready with advice. And he had guts as well - you don't see too many Scots wearing pink jumpers on national TV... :-D

Gutted for John. He was always there for the other contestants, encouraging them and reassuring them - he deserved so much more from the game. Great contestant.

I was gutted for John too, but I'd have taken that last offer of £5,600 given the bad luck he had had, I'm surprised he didn't deal, but as John said at the end, he has LOTS of things which money just can't buy, he's such a lovely bloke.

So far it is, but we won't know for sure until the week's over. The current worst week had a total amount of £49,626 won, so they've got a long way to go to beat that at the moment!

I was devastated for John big time. After all the support he gave the other players, and being such an amazing bloke, he deserved way more. I was so cross at the bankers offers though, it was like watching Geordies game all over again ( offers wise).

In my opinion the banker was overly harsh with his offers, not one offer was fair really ( imho), he was forced to carry on. I am so gutted for him, I was crying by the 3rd round.

I agree Johindes, I think whoever registered the bankers name made a mistake - should have been a 'W' not a 'B' in his name - he was an ass yesterday.
