Not that surprised we have this kind of stunt casting, it's quite common nowadays, especially on ITV.

Case in point: the most recent £1,000,000 Winner on Millionaire is the brother of a £500,000 winner the year before.

EDIT: Just looked up David's game and he dealt £5,000 on a blue/10k finish after taking some calculated gambles for mid-4 figure sums throughout. Will be interesting to see of Lindsey plays similarly and if she can get better endgame luck than him if she does.

Well if the first offer doesn't mean anything then why not lean into the stunt casting and have it really not mean anything?

Besides, the midgame generosity leap might end up looking better than it is if the Banker plays it well... Although that seems questionable...
