Helen gets emotional and says she wants to take that, as she doesn't think she has £50k and doesn't want to be greedy. She asks her husband if it'd be OK to take it and he says it's her game!

Helen says

    DEAL

Helen has £50,000 in her box 20.

Box 13 with Kem has the £10,000

Helen points out that the £50k isn't real and asks for confirmation that she's definitely won £19k :P

ONE blue at five box :D

Three box offer was crap

£50,000 winner denied :(

It's her own fault for dealing as she was 100% guaranteed £10,000 plus that offer was crap.

Plus she had £10,000 yesterday and day before £100,000.

Maybe she would have won £10,000 yesterday but we all know she wouldn't have won the Jackpot if she was playing the day before, don't we?

Definitely one of the strongest games in a while but I think throughout the offers were scandalous particularly the 3-box offer and I think we can all agree that Helen should’ve played till the end as the last offer was a disgrace but I think players think more about the offer itself rather than in the context of the game

Congratulations Helen regardless :)

Sigh, across the 3,000+ games of Deal or No Deal ever we had the clear Top 2 most frustrating players ever in the same week.  :smt011 :smt011

Glad David was able to properly convey in the commentary how out of her depth Helen was, pretty much every offer was the same story of her wanting to deal and needing a Herculean effort from both the wings and her husband to convince her it was worth another round.

I was a bit reluctant to say this in Chris's game but I'm not holding back here, both his game and Helen's were clear cases of the player making GREEDY deals, they were so mesmerized by the amount of money on offer they refused to consider the risk/REWARD potential of the board and the fact that they were already GUARANTEED a very substantial sum of money even if they went on.

The worst part about these 2 games is that it gives the Banker further encouragement to make abysmally poor offers, knowing there's a fair chance the player might take them regardless and even if they don't they're likely no threat to take him for the really big money even if they have the perfect run of boxes.

On the one hand, I'm of course happy for Helen that she won a big sum of money. But those offers were absolutely DIRE today. An appropriate offer at 5-box and 3-box would have been 25k, not £13,400. It was especially insulting at 3-box with 10k, 25k and 50k still there - and there I was thinking Chris' offer of £13,250 was abysmal with the 10k replaced by 5k!

19k was also a very easy no deal IMO, but that decision I can JUST ABOUT understand if you're someone for whom going from 19k to 10k is too much to bear.

Helen seemed very out of her depth as early as round 1 - without outside peer pressure I could see her having dealt in the first half of the game!
