Hunika says she's had a really good experience. The banker says the last offer was a test as it was far too low.

BANKER'S OFFER

£1,560

Poor play from the banker until 2-box there - an offer of less than 1k with 10p, 4k and 5k remaining is insanity.

A shame to see Hunika's luck run out after it looked so promising, but at least she went away with something of value. Winning 10p after all that would have been brutal.

What a strange board that was. Wish she could have had yesterday's instead as she at least knew to turn down £NO_DEAL (and then take the much better 2-box bailout).

1) Where was Dave yesterday?
2) I love the clarification remark, especially because that exact type of agreement from the host might actually have happened in the Channel 4 era...

Funny you ask that, as Chris mentioned that he didn't like other players saying 'if you take out this, the offer will.probably be...' because, in his view, the banker was totally unpredictable and could offer anything. Maybe Dave did offer similar advice and it was edited out? Either way it was evident Chris was terrified of the idea of being forced on and possibly winning 5k. I genuinely think he'd have taken turning down 13k and winning 5k as badly as many players take winning 50p...

And yes, Stephen Mulhern does a very good job of not influencing player decisions. About the only exception was when he jokingly said how afraid he was that someone might take the first offer. You know, those first offers pitched so low that basically no one on the planet would seriously consider them anyway!

Yes, I just checked back in the commentary and this is where Chris seemed to dismiss that point of view:
