Chris says he's still over the moon.

Chris has £25,000 in his box 18.

Box 16 with Conal has the £50,000

Stephen talks about how the money will mean Chris can spend more time with his family :D

ONE blue at five box :D

£25,000 winner denied :(

that deal was crap as he was 100% guaranteed £5,000.

But we all know he wasn't going to win £25,000 don't we as the next offer would obviously have been a deal as well...

Oh and he had £25,000 yesterday, which we all know he wouldn't have won it if he was playing yesterday, don't we?

Easily the worst decision to Deal of the revival, and quite possibly of all time! :smt011

To get a DREAM 3 box of 3 chunky reds and a clear comfortable fallback position and to deal roughly what the offer the will be if you hit the top amount is pure inability to read the board and playing the money with absolutely no regard for the board.

Anyone who defends this deal is clearly a Charles-esque troll.

While it was a poor offer in gameplay terms, at least it was a pretty chunky sum of money. I think deals for poor offers which are also much lower amounts are far more questionable.

An example that sticks out is Michael all the way back in 2007, who dealt £1k on a board of 7 blues vs £100k.

That's one of the strangest deals I can recall.

Yes, 13k is a huge sum of money, but when you're guaranteed 5k and have a 2/3 chance at 25k or more? Genuinely hard to comprehend, but clearly the money meant too much for him to risk it.

In my opinion those kind of deals at least have the small justification of things easily going wrong with no chance of recovery or a fallback.

This and 24k Michael (who dealt that sum on a DREAM 5 box of 10k/20k/50k/75k/100k) are in a league of their own of deals that have absolutely no justification given how dreadful the offer is on a very stable board with a comfortable sum as the worse case scenario.

Yes statistically that deal was terrible BUT

When the banker has shown a tendency over the last few games from going from £5k/£25k being a offer over £15k to possibly being £10k-12k and you have a player whose circumstances mean that £8k is a lot of money to lose, I can see the logic in taking the money.

Which, in turn, is more evidence that this Banker suddenly learning to play is paying big dividends.

But wow. That is one of the few times in this show's history where the worst reactions of the former host (and half the forum) actually feel like they might be the right one.
