Stephen says the banker will want Alex out of town - and quick. The banker makes some Nando's puns  He warns about the £75k and £100k going.

Stephen says the banker's right that the £75k and £100k going will mean that offer never comes again.

Alex says it's a cheeky offer. His wife says he's big on taking risks and he should go for it. He gets various advice from the wings.

Alex says

    DEAL

I expect he would have also dealt that, but with just one blue remaining, would he?

Jackpot winner denied :(

Major regret for him, forever.

But we all know he wasn't going to win the jackpot anyway, even if he was still in live play at two box, with a 100% guaranteed £10,000.

Even I knew that £10,000 deal wasn’t a good one with a board like that there was an almost inevitability that the next offer would still be ok :(

Despite, Alex joining others who missed the chance of it all he was a a great contestant and I hope the 10 grand does you and your family proud. :)

I can't lie, that deal was a surprising one! But presumably £10,520 was too much for him to risk, and by any measure it's a huge amount of money which I'm sure he'll enjoy.

Keep in mind this probably was recorded hours after the dreadful week of games we had just before the break. With that context I can understand why Alex felt the need to deal at the first sight of five figures. It's a shame that he squandered one of the best games of the revival by doing so. :(
