Kia says it's a lot of money (Alicia points out it's tax-free). Stephen points out the next round is 3 boxes. Chris and Alex give advice for Alicia - she says her figure was about £6,000. Stephen points out the offer is higher than any figure other than the £100,000.

Alicia says:

 NO DEAL

Alicia points out 13 (her box) is a superstitious number. Kia is stumped by the offer. Richard points out it's more than half of the average. He asks Alicia if she'd be OK going home with 10p, and he says no.

Alicia says:

She's obviously very gutted she didn't get chosen to play yesterday's game instead.

The reason?

£75,000 would have been on the table...

Gosh this game was almost a parallel of yesterday.

Yesterday was a game where Georgia fell through the cracks unluckily after rejecting 5-box and now the same with Alicia losing out immediately after 8-box. Even the both of them accepted the final offer and still lost out.

Equally, a few players had the same valuation in their box as they did yesterday. Such as Nay Nay with £100,000 and Matt with £25,000.

I feel like ever since Dori through to Jack’s game last week we’re going through a lucky phase with deal with players winning huge amounts and ever since we’ve had poor luck most of the time.

It is the lowest deal even technically winning a blue now beating Brian last week but at least Alicia didn’t win the lowest amount possible with was about £250

Well, there was something in it for her at the end at least! I'd not have favoured dealing at £4,700-odd any more than she did, it's just a shame that everyone was willing her on but luck had other ideas.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Is Richard the first contestant in this series to either know, or point out, that an offer was above the mean?

An utterly luckless game start to finish Even when she dealt the generous 2-box bailout she had the misfortune of the higher amount being in her box.
