The Banker says we're at the point where Brian's dream can become reality. The Banker plays on the fact box 7 is special to him.

Brian says it's quite dicey, but could also be a good one. George says it's a good offer, and it's close to the figure they had discussed before.

Brian says:

Was quite surprised at that £7,777 offer, definitely the first proper instance of the ITV Banker playing the player more so than the board.

Certainly not gonna complain about it though, £7,777 was still a reasonable offer for the board and the perfect amount to pressure Brian into dealing. :)

The Banker wishes Brian well with his winnings. He also wants Brian to take Stephen to an Arsenal game to watch Ian Rush and John Barnes.

It's always nice when a player gets the maximum out of their game.

£7,777 is less generous than we're used to this banker being, but it's clear Brian didn't want to risk it so fair play to him - I reckon he was tempted by his 8-box offer!

Is this the first time that two contestants of the same name have played back-to-back shows (ignoring the celebrity show yesterday)?

It may well be. I don't recall this ever happening in the C4 series.
