Well at least he managed to beat Lucy's 10p per show by getting £20 per show!

Ok, so not exactly the win I had in mind basically £20 per show for the 55 episodes Brian stood. I would’ve preferred Brian to win more and that deal was shocking as it was the joint lowest offer but he did choose 50p today and that can’t buy you anything.

It was devastating seeing that £75,000 go I thought Brian deserved more and Hayden’s reaction said it all.

On the bright side, it was nice to see a montage of all the shirts Brian wore over the episodes just like some of the episodes with different items of clothing back in the day.

Definitely Brian is one of the most intriguing players this series with the shirts and his character and being able to read the board well despite luck not being on his side.

Congratulations Brian, :-D :-D :-D glad the longest wing contestant has won something at least not like Lucy with the £5

Not going to be the same without those fruitful shirts

I've been looking forward to Brian's game for months now! Me and my sister met him back in September while in the audience, he wore a shirt that show producers didn't allow him to wear while he was a contestant because it had Japanese writing on it. I was also shocked when he told us he had done 55 shows, never expected anyone to beat Lucy's 50 show record. Anyway, he's a super nice guy, I didn't expect him to take that offer but I understand why you would take it. Wouldn't want to win a blue especially after 55 shows.

Why not? He had ONE red and FOUR blues! There was a very very high % chance of a blue in the box!

I could understand dealing at £1,100, really! Although on the terms this game was at, £750 was quite a pleasant support if he'd wished to continue, and that probably would have pushed me on for another round.
If only it could've been more for Brian - he deserved more after all that he'd contributed to this show.

Not to put oneself on a pedestal in any way, but speaking longevity-wise...from the forum Brian to the show Brian, well done Brian! :P

(I mean, since greeny's triumphant return it's really his title anyway :-D )

Oh dear, luck was not on Brian's side at all today. I totally get why he dealt £1,100 - it was pretty generous for the board and he understandably didn't want to risk going home with next to nothing. But talk about sod's law that the instant he dealt he would've turned things around. Still, he only missed out on an extra 3k so it's not like he missed out on mega life changing money at least.

Side note: not only is that the 2nd time in a row 50p came to the table, that's the 3rd time in 4 shows!
