That was quite the game! I thought the £29,000 no deal was questionable at best, but the £59,000 no deal was ridiculous - I think Dori just got carried away with the game.

As a side note, and for those who remember me from the older days as a bit of a box stats nerd, all the boxes have now contained the £100,000 jackpot at least once, box 13 was the last one to have it, with today being the first time the jackpot has been in 13.

Was GOBSMACKED at that final No Deal!!!   sdgthju sdgthju sdgthju

Only comparably reckless gamble to that on the Channel 4 version was Kerryanne declining 140k on a 10k/250k finish, and unlike her it wasn't clear from Dori's previous No Deals she was anywhere near THAT reckless!

Crazy how the allure of winning the top prize causes a select few to recklessly chase it in a way they wouldn't with any other amount. On the Channel 4 version the highest amount anyone risked at 2 box to try for the 100k was £29,000 (Ken and Pat/Steph) and yet Dori risked nearly DOUBLE that!!!  sdgthju sdgthju :smt009

Some of us will recall those days with alarming accuracy... :-D

My god, what a game that would've been to watch if I'd been at home! I feel this was - both in terms of its place chronologically in the first (proper) season of the show and in terms of the gameplay and contestant - the ITV era equivalent of Morris. Having said that, sixty thousand pounds, give or take a few hundred...sixty thousand pounds. Dori has been wonderful, a real standout character and one of those who'll be remembered for a long time to come, and she departed with an incredible game of Deal or No Deal, but if only she could have thought for a moment longer. Well, no - if she's completely happy with the fact that she went all the way, then good on her, and she did the right thing. It's just a bit unfortunate when somebody who's given such sage advice would have done so well to hear their own words when their time in the chair came.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Is that...is that true?! Over the entire eleven years, the highest anybody risked with the £100k there was £29,000? That's amazing!

I mean... wow. I think I nearly fainted watching this. I seriously thought she had the £100,000 in her box, and I actually would have played all the way for once. I just thought considering she had a lot of high reds and it's been 3 weeks since it was last on the table. Again, it needs to be reiterated. Edge of your seat telly. I don't think we're gonna get a game like this for a long, long while. I love this show.

Will say, I hate how the swap wasn't offered though. Think this pretty much confirms it's gone.

ONE blue at five box :D

100% guaranteed £5,000... is she going to be extremely very brave and go for it?

Indeed she was, but sadly it wasn't to be.

DIDN’T SEE THIS ONE COMING.

Someone was gonna go for it some day, but just like Kirsty in 2006 the first one to go for the £250,000 , taking a chance for a confetti did not pay off.

At least Dori, managed to get £5,000 today rather than go away with a blue and at least for once someone just like Donna at the start of the series who took a risk and went one round further rather than bottle out like most players do.

Dori should’ve been offered the swap though but I suppose times change. If she had the same I wanted her to swap 13 as £100k never been in that box until now.

Congratulations Dori, leaving a legacy in the Mulhern era as a risk taker. :D

It’s that belief that today is the day and that a large amount is meant for you pushes players to take the risk glad Dori took that chance it backfired than squandered the chance of the confetti like Becca, Pete and chaniece
