Such an unlucky sad game  but weird mixed emotions at the end as I ended up willing the 1p to be in her box :?

Such an inspirational lady, well done Sally :-D

My god, that stinks! Poor girl. :(

Say, does anyone have a screen capture of the final two amounts left in play and the 21p bank offer? I MUST see those! :-D

Thats got to be the most emotional game yet, I was in tears too.

But I'd have done the same, no deal at the second £18,800 offer and I would have wanted the 1p when I got to that stage too.

From all the links, I think I do vaguely remember her now featuring on South Today (the BBC local news programme down this way). I'm pretty sure they were covering the trip as it evolved.

Remarkable game, remarkable lady. Such a spirited, determined and positive woman did not deserve that. I thought it was lovely the way she kept picking herself up to tell the stories even though she was clearly devastated by the big numbers disappearing.

No dry eyes in the studio, and no dry eyes in my living room either. The only consolation I can find is that it wasn't quite as cruel to watch as Trevor's 1p game, but I really don't think that anything ever will be.

I have posted a comment on her guestbook.

Hi Sally,

I am really, really shook by your game on deal or no deal, it would be wrong if i said i didnt cry for you, you played the game exactly how it should have been played, and you didnt at all deserve 1p. If you want to, i know of a friendly, kind website you could visit called www.dond.co.uk and they have forums where you could post and say hello, there are even past contestants you can say hello to, eg. John, Scott, Melanie, Paul (the mad hatter) and lots of other past contestants who have played ages ago.

We'd love to see you there.

Regards,
Jon

I still havent actually posted it yet, so if there is anything you want me to change, just ask.

Thank you very much Kes!!

Any reason why they displayed the offer as "£0.21" rather than "21p"?

In the first picture, do I see a tear coming from her right eye? :(

Again, I appreciate the captures mate!

Sally may have only won 1p, but being a boatwoman, she undertook her very own voyage of discovery on the show, and she still took heart from it in a very positive manner.

For that she should be proud. :D :smt038

Yep, rotten shame it was, but I, like Mental MIckey would have walked at £18K or whatever the offer was (£18,500??) Can't remember it exactly, but that would have been walking money for me, for sure.
