Simon thought he had over £10,000 in his box! He still thinks it's a lot of money. His wife says he just has to go for it. Stephen says to tell him when he's ready, and he is. To... NO DEAL

To think that would be £35,000 & £50,000 as the top 2 on the C4 equivalent board.

Simon's not messing about here.

Round 5:

Myles 21 - 1p :D

Even if it's a blue and £2,000... happy days!

Now he's going for Jamie.

Jamie 8 - £50

We need for it to be either a blue or £2,000 now...

Can Rochelle do that for us? We're in trouble if it's one of the top 2

Rochelle 3 - After the break to find out!

Banker's been doing the maths. He's pitched the offer at just £9.08 above the FD.

I think I'd play on though, I'd have hoped for £6K+.

Jamie says it's a nice family holiday, and to think of the nice memories it would create! Simon says his wedding photo motivates him. Stephen says 2 more boxes going forward.

He wants the question...

He says it's amazing money, but he's NO DEALING :eyes:

Can we find the 10p or £2,000?

Round 6

Monz 9 - £5,000

It's ok... for now, as long as he continues to avoid the top 2!

Johnny 11 - he hopes it's the 10p, is it?

Big box!

£25,000 :(

His wife would no deal, but says it's up to him! Joseph advises him to as well. Pete says to go with whatever he feels. Some hesitation, and he's ready.

Is he dealing?

Some more hesitation...

NO DEAL

Simon says he really wanted to change their lives. His wife says to go to him. Jamie says if he gets to play and win big, he'll get Simon the family holiday. He tells him he has the £2,000!

He's ready. What's he gonna do?

He thinks he has the £2,000, so it's one final NO DEAL

Is it?

He reveals 10p in Simon's Box 10 :(

Ouch. Even at lower stakes, this game can be cruel.

Gutting crash there, thought for sure he was wisely going to cut his losses at that generous £3,100 lifeline.

At least this game goes to show making reasonably generous offers at lower stakes produces exciting games. The Banker prodding Simon on with a 2k offer at 3 box and 500 quid or less at the end like the old banker would've just forced him to go through the motions rather than seriously consider the lifeline offers, and the fact he had all those arguable either way decisions go against him makes the crash all the more gutting.
