I loved Lynda, she was really nice and bubbly! :D Pity it was another £20,000 win though! :D Hope the money does her and her family well - and a great game! :D

Aw, what a lovely lady Lynda was...so glad she did well! Meh, she could have had £37,100, but you could tell she was thrilled with £20k so I doubt she'll be too bothered.

Pointless trivia: Francesca, the last person to play with £50 in her box, also sold it for £20,000.

Oh, and as much as I love Sally, I thought her advice was quite crap...having £35k on the board doesn't mean winning £35k. A board with £35k as the highest amount is going to produce crap offers, and therefore more chance of going on and taking it out.

I think the advice was sound - because it was valid, it was correct. Look at Matt? He won the £35,000 so it is something. Its not like Lynda would loose everything by no dealing.

Well, yes, if you're lucky enough to have the £35k in your box and win it, it's a great amount of money. But having it as the highest amount on the board with eight boxes left is pretty poor.

Not deleted - just moved..... See below

If you are wondering where your some of your posts in this thread have gone, I have moved to them to here

It was taking the thread way off topic and I feel was best moved out of the thread.

Good result for her, but has to be seen as an excessively cautious deal when you go for £20,000 at the third offer with 4 of the power 5 remaining and a couple of middle reds to back them up.

Would have been a great victory over the Banker if she had just pushed it a couple more offers and taken the £37k. I really thought she was going to have the £250,000 in her box like Debbie who was the last person to play from that position!

And I think she might have even gone at the second offer had it been higher!!

Anyway, well done to her! I think she had her target and was going to stick rigidly to it regardless of the board at that time. Respect to her for that. :D

She played the game her way. And while I suspect most people would have gone on, that would have put them in a dangerous situation at the next offer, and they'd have got more only through an amazing fifth round.

A good deal for both sides I think!

WELL PLAYED LYNDA.

I was with you on that deal, no two ways about it, I'd have dealt then too.

Well done Lynda.

I would have gone on for another round though but £20,000 is a nice sum of money

Whenever a contestant needs tissues when they're offered a deal, they HAVE TO DEAL. I'd have gone on but knew she'd deal when she started crying. Lynda could've gone on and played the game but she'd have been distraught if she'd ended up going away with a blue amount. She got a nice sum of money and I thought she came across really well. What bugs me is when you get contestants who go away with an ok amount (say £5k) but still sulk. Don't they realise how lucky they are to get on in the first place? Lynda didn't beat the banker but she didn't care, she just seemed delighted to have won £20k.
