Seems strange that in recent games to deal at the right time and beat the banker would have meant taking a high early offer.

Yes it does. And her highest offer wasnt early.
Then tell that to the four guys who won 1p!

And the 7 who could have won £250,000.
So people should just no deal all the way not accepting any offer from the banker? That would give people an odds on chance of going away with anything between 1p and £1,000. I believe it's worth taking a risk only when you haven't been offered enough money for what's on the board.

What are you on about? There are more reds than that you know.

A) Bob had the £250,000 too.

B) rico7 appears to be counting £1,000 as a blue - which I would personally agree with. If you view it like that, there's more chance of winning a blue (or an honorary blue!) than a red by going all the way to the end.

Ah Bob, thats the one.

Its still a red though, taking it out is good but winning it is also quite okay.

In other words if you decide before the game that you will no deal everything and just walk away with what's in your box you have an odds on chance of winning £1,000 or less (1p-£1000 is 12 boxes and £3,000-£250,000 is 10 boxes). Of course if the contestants did do that but just shared the money between themselves equally then we would have regular £250,000 winners, and statistically contestants would have more than £25,000 to go home which is a lot more than the current average which is around £17,000!

Once again I must apologise for not posting.

I have watched every game. But, I have been very busy, creating a MySpace Site, it just runs away with time.

I have enjoyed a lot of the games.

I will be on holiday for the next two weeks, but will still be watching. Have a nice summer everybody.

Top game indeed. The Banker's offers took me by surprise during the middle of the game but I liked positive attitude displayed by both Monica and Michael, espicially as they lost out on £3,000 at the very end.

Only just watched this game after missing it yesterday.... Very interesting new Banker tactic of raising the offer after knocking out a big number! Maybe we'll have the spectacle soon of an all blue round followed by a decreased offer! :-D

Anyway, well done to Monica! Hope that the money goes, at least in part, some way towards the Crohn's disease treatment she was after for her son.

He'll have blood on his hands if he tries that one.... then again, if he's taken a dislike to a certain contestant, then he could use that method in an attempt to wind them up.
