Roy says he would have swapped his box 3 for box 7 if he had played on

Roy now has box 7 because of the swap which contains £50,000

Box 3 contains the £15,000

The swap would have worked......

What a shame he didn't go to the end but another brilliant game and wonderful sum of money! :smt026

 I wish they'd stop swapping the boxes after the Deal. It's so confusing.

But what a fantastic end to that game! Like Noel, I thought Roy was going away with nothing...but then he took out the six lowest that he had left at the fourth offer! So pleased for him! I think I'd have Dealt when he did too, but I would have been tempted to go on for the £50k. And in my opinion, the box he sold was the £15k one, so he beat the banker really.

I guess it depends how much he needed the money.

For me, it would have been a risk worth taking at that point, £15k or £50k was guaranteed. Still, he did very well to get to that stage considering how bad it looked at one point

I was expecting a well bigger cheer when the £100 went. A really dull audience.

So 3 never has anything too much!

Mmm...I'm really not sure what I would have done. £27.5k seems like a big win to me, whereas £15k sounds pretty average...but really there's not a great deal of difference. It's just the way I view money.

Anyway, I'd have left 4 to the end, not 7, so it's irrelevant. :D (And I'd have had a £15k/£75k final two, so hurrah for me.)

Great turnaround, I was convinced he was heading for the phonebox when he no-dealt that offer with 5 boxes left. Just a shame he didn't go on, take the swap and complete the job - it's been such a long time since anyone won £50,000 or more! I think I'd no-deal anything below the mean on that final two.

Yes, that game sprung to life out of pretty much nowhere, a bit like the sensation when Noel wears a decent shirt...

From the 8 box stage, he took out the 6 lowest numbers in his next six boxes which swung it round completely.

Once again, it shows that the dividing line between success and failure in DOND is wafer thin.

Well played Roy! :-D
