I'm surprised the Banker didn't call at 3-box.

THE JENNIFER FINISH!

"You'll never be so thrilled to throw away £10,000!" Noel jokes.

He points out the swap is always available on a £250k finish. Not sure why with Dutch-style pick-your-own in effect, seeing as the point of it was to ensure £250k was winnable every game.

I commentated on the first game with £250k in play at the end, and £750 was the kicker. I'm on duty for the last game with £250k in play at the end, and £750 is the kicker.

Banker talking of omens.

Devil of an offer coming. There's £666 on the end of it, for a start.

BANKER'S OFFER

£66,666

I'd definitely Deal here. £66,000 is too much to risk with only £750 to fall back on.

£66,666 a difficult decision. What is Vikki going to do here's the question

The offers have been all over the place on blue/£250k in the process.

Vikki never imagined having a game with this kind of stake level. Didn't want to get carried away thinking about it.

She's got the sense it's there. Safe to say she's not swapping anyway.

Talking like £66,666 is more than half as useful as £250k to her. "Completely down the middle in my mind," she says, before name-checking the atmosphere. "It needs to stay amazing." Losing almost £66k probably would kill it.

Noel insists the issue is how she feels. Presumably the unspoken there is "with each regret scenario."

Vikki says she's ready. That sparks an applause.

The final time that question has been asked... that devil of an offer... Deal... or No Deal?

VIKKI SAYS NO DEAL!

"What have I done?"

This could be one of the biggest regrets in the history of the game if £750 is in Box 1.

No chance she's going to swap for Craig's Box 14. Offer made anyway, for the final question we'll hear on this show, and the easiest. NO SWAP.

You certainly can't complain about this show ending with a whimper.

Noel points out she's not the only one shaking here. He somehow muffs even this by saying he's always been on the side of the player, "especially those who say 'this is the moment'" - the unspoken doesn't need saying, his support is at least partly conditional on risk-taking.

She had the privilege to make this decision, judging by what her parents did.

NOEL OPENS BOX 1 AND IT'S £250,000!

They'd have cancelled the show before they got to 100 winners. They'd have run out of money.

Noel can't quite believe it, and shows this with expressionless disbelief. Nor can Vikki, who shows her shock with the hands-over-mouth reaction and having to check this is real.

Cue another crowd roar as the box was shown.

"So the Banker can't get off with a technicality," Craig makes the final box opening in the show's history - Box 14 has £750.

Final Banker call. "It's not often I doff my bowler... but I was faced with a Braveheart." Somehow the most appropriate ending to the show ever - an appropriate clever reference, and an endorsement of risky play.

Noel praises her for simply saying she didn't want to let everyone down. Big hug, big roar as she's confirmed as a jackpot winner once more!

"We've had the most extraordinary eleven years... but we haven't had a better game than this" because it sums up emotions, apparently. And we sign off with happy Christmas from Glasgow!

Fini, until the revival assuming there is one before the nuclear war etc etc.

The company behind the show probably makes millions each week / month.
