I didn't have Gavin down as a big gambler despite his wrestling background, so I don't think an epic scrap was ever on the cards. However kudos to him for taking his unlucky game so well - as a wrestler he'd know that for him it's as much about being a 'showman' as a sportsman - and I'm glad he got that £10k at the end. Good luck to him.

Looking him up on Google, he's quite a good wrestler who has wrestled some guys I've heard of in the British scene (actually took part in a qualifying match for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic this year).

Really unlucky game. Only the 2nd offer was worth considering but that was only around the FD and he wasn't to know he'd have that run of reds so quite pleasing that Box 23 made up for his bad luck.

I don't know why I hate it when people who win a blue and get the +£10,000 from 23. I just don't like it. Doesn't seem fair.
