FANTASTIC game. I'd have dealt £17,500 for sure, and when the last offer was so much higher than Simone's was in the same situation, I started getting all cynical and thinking that Paul had the £75k and the banker knew it. So I was doubly glad that he had the £1. :D Brilliant player and a brilliant result.

And I would imagine wakey has a few to add to his hate list after all the advice to Deal....

A similar game to John G's on February 18th in as much as like John, Paul had the 50K and 75K and three low amounts at the 5 box stage. John was offered £25,000 compared to Paul's £17,500. Both players had a 30% chance of taking out the 50K and 75K, John got unlucky and did just that, whereas Paul managed to keep the 75K. You could say that down to pure luck John's decision looked stupid, but Paul's was a good one. It's interesting that the banker's offer at the 5 box stage was £7,500 lower than John's. In going to the final two, Paul won over the banker big time!

But does gambling pay off to the point where you would have gone further and opened the final box?

I'd have gone at £17,500, and my opinion is pretty much summed up by Daniel - except I found Paul so entertaining the conspiracy never came into my head.

But he had to gamble to get the £32,000 considering many told him to deal. Sally remains on hold in my hate group, still subject to removal.

I'm sure Sally is at her computer on the edge of her seat, frantically refreshing the page to find out your decision....

She does seem rather vocal, if that's her voice I keep hearing. Still, I don't blame her...I'd have been pretty terrified in today's game!

Well, what can I say about today's show?

I think the words entertaining and memorable sum it up nicely and, if you're reading this, Paul, I hope you enjoy the £32,000!!!

What a great guy and i'm happy he won 32k.

Did anyone else hear someone shout 'shut up' when some people were telling him to no deal?

Yea I did, it was when Noel was saying "You can go home with £1 or £75,000... or something in between"

It was said just after Noel said £75,000. I think they were telling Noel to shut up!

Great game and show, as someone suggested it would be on another thread!

I'm normally a no-dealer but would probably have taken the 5-box offer, 30% chance of going away with peanuts and also the chance of a punishment offer for the 60% probability of hitting just one of the big ones (which he didn't get, as it happened). With no £250,000 there the potential gain was limited as well, but the gamble paid off.

Fantastic show today - great for comedy value and fun - as well as the great payout of £32,000!

Well done to Paul! :D

I think that was my favourite ever game! Paul was brilliant throughout the show, he showed alot of bottle to go on with only 5 boxes left. Delighted he won a large amount of money, he deserved it.

Paul is a nutter. An entertaining nutter, but still a nutter.

Yeh, I noticed that, someone shouted out (was it Connell?!) "Oh, shut up!" when Noel mentioned the £75k. I must admit, I think that's what we were all thinking, we didn't want Noel to encourage Paul to no deal, but I suppose Noel has to do his neutral "you could have X or you could have Y in your box" bit.

Oh, and did anyone else notice how quickly the other contestants rushed over to Paul at the end of the game? Compare this to another game that we saw recently, where they all seemed reluctant to go over to the contestant. :?
