Back from the break again.

£50 goes

For those not keeping track, the numbers left are:

£5
£500
£750

£3,000
£5,000
£20,000
£50,000
£75,000

Ryan has a figure in his head for this offer and writes it in Noel's book.

He writes "back to first offer"

It isn't. It is £15,500 :D

Ryan asks for a sweep. The opinion seems to be that there is still some play left in this board yet.

Ryan is speaking a lot of sense in his apraisal of the game. He knows that if he knocks out the £75K and £50K he may well be forced to go right to the end. He would prefer to deal one deal too early than one deal too late.

Ryan asks for the question. Not really sure about his answer...

Finally, he says DEAL!! :D :D

A guy who clearly knows exactly when to quit.

The prove-out round. Ryan asks for more birthdays to pick his numbers.

Box 9 - £750

Box 14 - £3000

Box 10 - £5

Ryan says he is gutted. The dream round. :(

The banker would have offered £25,500

Ryan says he would have dealt.

A real shame he didn't go one more round, but hindsight's a wonderful thing and I guess you can never be too gutted about having a five-figure sum in your bank account.

Prove-out round two:-

Box 4 - £20,000

Box 1 - £75,000

Box 2 - £5,000

That leaves us with either £500 or £50,000...

The banker would have offered £12,000.

Ryan's box (15) contains £500 :D

He will be happy enough with that. A victory of sorts against the banker, though he could have had a bit more.

Box 16 had the £50,000

Viewers Comp (up to £20K):

Box 2 has £20K. Lorna Bond of Kilmarnock wins.

:( In stark contrast to Sally, Amy has a horrible voice. I'm so disappointed.

And well done Ryan....I think I'd probably have gone on but he didn't miss out on too much, really.

Erm, that definately wasnt the right time to quit. As proved, he threw away £10,000 and even if he no dealed £25,500, the offer would have been £12,000 which isnt much off the one he took.

Why is it that when contestants deal early, they take out all the lower amounts in the next round and vice versa?

Anyway, wise words from Ryan, better to have dealt one deal too soon rather than one deal too late. :D

Welldone Ryan! :-D

Thought Ryan was absolutely hilarious - what a lovely bloke! :-D

We've had some cracking games recently, Shirley's for the drama, Pennie's for the madness and now Ryan for the entertainment.

Who said the current crop were a bit boring?! ;)

ryans game today was excellent entertainment. he seems like a really nice guy, and funny.
well done ryan on beating the banker. i dont think your a chicken for going a deal too early. We've seen it happen before when players carry on and take out the biggys. you still went home with a considerable amount of money and if you'd have gone on and the board took a turn for the worse the banker would have made you play on and you'd have only gone home with £500. enjoy your winnings. :-D

I hate it when people forget to mention the fact people havent just no dealed and have it go wrong, but no dealed and had life changing money in theyre pocket. It puts so many people off thinking about going on when people like Mark open their trap and say deal.

Most of the time people deal early, they could have won lots more even TONS more.

But people who deal too soon still generally go away with a good amount of money - it must have been pretty good to get them to deal in the first place. People who deal too late - or not at all - often go away with practically nothing. Therefore most people would prefer the former situation. (Although I'm not sure that I would, depending on the amounts of money involved.)
