Holly's game today.

We get a look-back at some of the best bits of last week's show.

Hopefully Holly has the guts and the fortune to be the first £30,000+ winner since Paddy.

Holly has Box 10.

Holly Hanrahan, from Folkestone, a self employed make-up artist. Her biggest accident on the job was when she accidentally set fire to someone's kitchen! She has a photo of her parents (in the '80s, to stitch them up!), and another of her two children. She has been in and out of 200 homes in five months, due to her always renting. Her best friend Louise is in the audience; they love each other, but not in that way! :eyes:  She says her short hair often makes people think that is the case! Some bizarre banter about lesbianism ensues!

Banker time...

Round 1

Box 13 with Gaz - 50p

Box 19 with Julia - £75,000 :?

That's a shame, says Noel.

Box 8 with Olivia - £10,000

Uncertain response to that. Noel says we now need the £100 to balance the board!

A slip leads Holly to apparently suggest Deal is for those who aren't intelligent! The Banker calls, and has bad news for her; she asks if it is that he will spank her! :eyes:  The news is actually that the Banker is a lesbian! :eyes:  He tells Holly to behave, or she will be the first player to be thrown out of their own game!

Box 5 with Jafar - £20,000

Box 2 with Mark - £1,000

Banker time...

Noel says that was a bit of a rubbish start, but it was fun!

Banker's offer:

£8,500

£8,500 is just above the FD. Pretty good for a 4 red/1 blue opening.

Holly says that is so good for what's happened. She asks what the Banker looks like; Noel says a watermelon that's been dropped from a tall building, with a suit!

Holly says:

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

Lesbians from the North are utterly disgusted at today's opening round.

I expected the holding offer of £5k to be honest.

Yep, it is a good offer. A common trend of the Banker this year is to make a generous 1st offer but not uphold to that generosity later on in the game. :unsure :smt011

I WOULD have expected £5k but with the banker being so harsh these days I only thought it would be £3k at the highest.

We're back...

Round 2

Holly has calmed down now. She wants money for her children, and also to buy a house so she doesn't have to move out of rented accommodation all the time.

The newbie next, who Noel likens to an old Man Utd goalie!

Box 6 with newbie Steve - £100

Holly wants to buy a bus she can turn into a mobile beauty salon.

Box 20 with Nath - £50

Box 9 with Iola - £10

Banker time...

That's beautifully balanced now, says Noel.

Banker's offer:

£10,000
