I don't believe that offer.

It doesn't follow the pattern of the previous offers, i.e on the low side.

Would've been about 14K IMO

Yeah as if that would really have been the offer.

More likely just over £10,000.

That's what I'm thinking.

Ugh, this is just getting painful to watch for her reaction now.

It wouldn't be that high in live play.

Another hypothetical offer that doesn't follow the pattern of the previous real offers.

Would've been no more than 35K IMO

Noel opens Jodie's Box 18 and reveals £5,000

Ian completes the game with £500 in Box 13.

It seems we are in the period of too many cautious players at the moment. Excluding Sidi.

Thankfully a larger sum wasn't in the box.

Well, at least the game collapsed eventually. If she'd had the other 10% final round, that would've been utterly horrific to watch.

Still, I suspect crashing from £50,000 would've been more painful for her than that.

And that's me done for a while. Should be back to commentating after my exam on 8th October. :-)

IF ONLY Jodie had the GUTS to go to 5 box!!!!!!!!!!

A very WEAK Deal today, bordering on HORRIBLE, and it deservedly punished. :smt011

A game for the moderate player, that.

Sadly we didn't get one.

And what if Jodie comes here, sees your message and PMs you with her 'concern'?

It's not the least likely thing to happen. Once, when myself and Daniel4389 had been squabbling over a contestant named Sarah from 2006, Sarah in fact joined this forum and messaged me - and probably him too - expressing her slight displeasure at our obsession. That was nearly 7 and a half years ago, but the same could happen now - one of these players could take you to task on your immature ways, as they could be taken with offence. :smt023

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Even a player as cautious as Jodie would have got more than just over 1/3 of the average on a board that strong.

We were heading for a dream-finish Donna game for a while there in terms of the player taking the proveout badly until the 10% round at the end.
