Shirley says to NO DEAL to £55,000

Not as big a gamble as the last round, and it could work for her.

Good luck, Shirley! :crossfingers:

The offer is £20,000

With 50p still in play, the wise move has to be to deal. It's not worth the gamble.

A shame she didn't take the £55,000 lest she still got a good amount, I would of played on with a board like that aswell

Noel didn't show us how much she would of been happy with in noels book?

Viewers Comp:

Box 2 has £5000 (the big one)

Rachel Palmer in Carlisle wins.

Shirley's target was £20K so she got the amount she wanted on the nose. Seems a pretty big target to have though. Most usually write something between £5K and £10K don't they?

See how Mark opened his big gob. It simply HAD to be £50,000 considering it was last seen 56 shows ago. Wise move IMO to no deal at £55,000, id have done the same. Id have also no dealed £20,000 as well knowing the stats.

I'd call that the most painful finish ever. I'd have done exactly what she did I think, not sure about the £55,000.

Had she picked Box 20 at the end instead... what would the offer on £50k/£250k been and would she have taken it?

About £115,000 considering Kirsty's £75,000 - £250,000 finish was an offer of £125,000.

Wow! What a game!!

I love games like this where we see someone taking pretty big risks and coming out OK at the end. Usually the contestant ends up with a bluey but not today - her bravery was rewarded!

Super game, definately a future Hall of Fame game!

NO. NO IT *beep* DIDN'T. STOP IT

Anyway...what a game!!!! I'd have taken £55k without a shadow of a doubt, but only because that's a huge amount of money to me - I don't blame her at all for going on, it was 50/50 as to whether the offer would go up and she was guaranteed a pretty nice consolation prize, which is what she ended up getting. Fantastic game.

If only she'd gone for Bianca and not Connell... (Although given that she turned down the previous offer, I think she'd have gone for it in that situation, and won the £50k in her box anyway.)
