Wow...I didn't really think the offers were mean today! Not amazingly generous, but I'm pretty sure I'd have dealt when she did, if not before. Maybe thinking about uni things has made me more cautious. :?

Anyway, well done Eileen! Great win, even if she did deny me the sight of a 50p winner! (Hey, she replaced Becca, and they both played with 50p in their boxes. How...spooky. Or not.)

Great win comprehensively beating the banker! The banker's offers were about what you would expect.

A great start to the week. Eileen played a very good game without anyone really noticing it. She was in a fantastic position when she eventually dealt, which was exactly the right thing to do.

Does anyone think the new number are to make the opening of the boxes more dramatic? (That's not as daft as it sounds!) What I mean is, with the new numbers we don't immediately get to see what the number is, we have to wait until it's raised almost fully. Just a thought, probably a stupid one as it doesn't take that long for the boxes to open!

Maybe it's just to prevent them from falling off (whose game did that happen in? It was aaaaages ago.). But I doubt they'd leave it so long.

That was in Chris's game back in February sometime, funnily enough he left that box until the end of the game. :?

Anyway, I'm not keen on the new look, it looks as if the card is going to fall off or something. Still I suppose I'll get used to it.

Well played Eileen, good start to the "back to normal" DOND week!

I was surprised when she dealt though, as there was a spoiler thread on this (which I didn't read) and lots of posts on the show thread, towards the end of the game I was convinced she was going to win either £75,000 or 50p!

Cracking game. The offers were rather generous to me, I'd have gone at the third offer and that scares me. I thought the board had improved slightly coming into the fifth offer but the loss of the £50k made it feel weaker so the stick was a good call.

And I think the new box labels are meant to look 3D, but I don't know if it's just a shadow effect...

£16,500 - great game for Eileen! I'd hate it if she'd won the 50p.

Good game from Eileen. I just knew when she was chosen Noel was going to say "Come on Eileen" lol!

The values in the boxes seem to be sitting out from the back of the box. Maybe a revised fixing method, as I assume they keep the same boxes for a while.
